    Wood Router

You need a router and a 1/4 round bit. That will make bullnoses all day long. You don't need a router table or a plunge base; in fact you don't really need much know how. If you can't figure out how to use a 1/4 round on a router you have no business owning a workbench...if you catch my drift.

    Ernst 40 wrench storage dimensions.......

Like danc333 stated above, the rails are adjustable. The maximum width you need is whatever the longest wrench you have. And yes, you can cut them down to whatever length you need. For example, my cman drawers are only 15" deep, so I cut one notch off and the rails fit perfect.

    Let's see your toolbox.

Look on the bright side...the majority of your books have virtually no resale value!!! Hang in there, it's worth it to bite the bullet and finish school.

    Porter Cable Tradesman Line

I saw them at Lowe's the other day. An 18v cordless drill (like the one you mentioned in the set) is $99. The quality looks top notch and the price is good. I was actually thinking about picking on up.

Question: What is a button set?

I think what you are referring to is simply called a button. Any good foundry pours one with each heat, runs a spectograph on it, and saves it and all its test data.

Going to machining class is downright painful

I know your pain. A couple years ago I was in my machining class making a drill bit diameter gauge. Over half the kids (engineering majors) didn't know how to chuck up a bit or keep the work piece from spinning around on the drill press.

    tapmatic tools

Ok, I found what I was looking for. Atlas Copco makes some but I'm sure they'll be over $2500 per. Oh well, isn't my money...

    tapmatic tools

hholmberg, you are correct; Tapmatics are usually used on a drill press. Example: I would like something similar to this, but in a hand held version like MXtras says he used to use. The tool will need to be air powered and it will only be for 8-32 and 10-24 threads.

    tapmatic tools

I need a Tapmatic tap system for a hand held driver. Anyone know where I can find one? A Tapmatic tool is a self-reversing system...it allows the drill to be run in forward the entire time. It has a clutch in it that spins the tap in reverse when you pull against it. Thanks!

    Bad ballast?

you may not want to do that. generally, when you remove wires for the sockets, the sockets have to be replaced.
