Not sure why I would need this wrench extender. If I needed more leverage on a bolt, I would just go with a breaker bar and a socket. I believe that would hold the socket better than a wrench and not round it off when applying a lot of torque. Plus, it looks like there could be some play with...

Just got this Duratech wrench set. I went cheap on the SAE side for the double box end wrenches. I have to say for $36 this is a heck of deal. These wrenches are chrome vanadium with a nice chrome finish and heavy. The set has 8 double box end going form 1/4" to 11/4". The biggest wrench is...

Cheaper socket/ impact set, but pretty nice.

I would agree, that in most cases SnapOn is not worth spending a huge amount of money on for a DYI guy when it comes to sockets. I have a lot of GearWrench sockets and rachets and they are great quality for the money. If I had bought all SnapOn it would cost a fortune for all the sockets. I...

Bought a Stahwile set of metric offset double box end wrenches based on another poster's purchase to add to the wrench collection. They look very well made - made in Germany, chrome allow steel and chrome plated. They were not cheap, but I noticed that the SAE version is about three times the...

    Mobile work table thing?

I bought this one on Amazon and really like it. It's light and well put together. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C786U20/?tag=atomicindus08-20

    Echo Battery Saw

It wouldn't be at the top of my list based on my experience with it. Going dead after 5 minutes of light use is not a stellar report.

    Echo Battery Saw

In guess I got a lemon, but it made a poor impression on me on battery powered chain saws. The gas saws I have are way more powerful. I can see the battery ones being okay for smaller stuff, but not cutting down good size trees. I do have some battery powered equipment, but I went with Ego...

    Dewalt 20V Cut Off Tool

I cut a lock with an angle grinder twice and it went through it like butter. I think they are a bit bulkier, and you have to use two hands.

    Echo Battery Saw

I bought one and used it one time and it died on me after 5 minutes of use and I took it back to Home Depot for a refund. Now I only have gas powered chain saws. I was limbing an oak I had cut down with a gas chain saw, so it wasn't even used on the bigger stuff. It just shut down and would not...

    Dewalt 20V Cut Off Tool

I saw that comparison. I don't use an angle grinder that often, but can't it do the same thing the cut off tool does, but just with more power? The advantage I see with the cut off tool is the cutting wheel is attached like a circular saw being vertical as opposed to horizontal on an angle...

    Dewalt 20V Cut Off Tool

Does anyone have a Dewalt 20V cut off tool? I was wondering if this would be a worthy addition to the power tool collection when I already have two angle grinders. It looks nice and compact, and the cutting wheel is positioned more for precise cutting like a circular saw. I am a little...

    Table saws-recommendations for a beginner

I have the Bosch 4100XC with the gravity rise stand and it takes up very little room in the garage. Folds up and I have it against the wall. I can wheel it where I want and it folds up on the stand - pretty cool. I don't think the Dewalts do this - you would have to mount it on the stand each...

    Must have Snap On items?

I thought I had a ratchet problem. I like their ratchets, sockets, screwdrivers and wrenches. Everything is expensive, but it's tool truck quality and what the mechanics use along with Matco and Mac. I also think their pliers are good, but don't have any. I went mostly with Knipex on those...

Looking to buy screw starters set.

If you want US, I would go with Snap On, but they are very expensive. Out of US, look at Wiha, Wera and PB Swiss. The first two are made Germany and PB Swiss is made in Switzerland. I would recommend you watch the screwdriver comparison by Project Farm on YouTube. He does some excellent...

    Best Screwdrivers

That is a set I never looked at or considered. However, I think I have more than enough screwdrivers. I sold a GearWrench set to a friend of mine to reduce the redundancy. Wright makes some good tools.

    Gearwrench tool reviews

I have some of their ratchets, socket sets and wrenches. And some screwdrivers. They are good quality tools, especially for the money. I really like their 120XP rachets and an alternative to SnapOn. The ratchets and the wrenches performed very well in the comparison tests by Project Farm...

Another good comparison video of the Makita inflators.

    Inflater

I found this video on Youtube that compares the older model to the new one. The newer one is about twice as fast to fill up a tire. It's quite a bit bigger and heavier, but still looks fairly small compared to an air compressor. The price difference is around $52 on Amazon.

    Ratchet and Socket Drawer.

Thanks. Hard to beat a SnapOn box for quality, even an older one. The big drawer with depth is nice for ratchets and sockets.

    Ratchet and Socket Drawer.

And they do. Funny, I was never into tools until about 4 years ago. I had a minimal amount of tools or what most homeowner/DIY people have. Admittedly, I way overdid it for my needs and blew a lot of money.
