Stabil works for a year or so. Better yet run it dry then splash a little bit of Sunoco Optima 95 (bottom left) in it and restart. It'll be fresh for about 2 years.

The "best" way is to run it dry under a light load that wont care about the hiccup at the end like a blow dryer or space heater. Draining the carb or running the carb dry if you have that option works well.

Doing this again right now.... The 7 series is a little lite for heavy rigs, but BP will lift the rated weight in my experience.

Thats how port injected rigs are set up, used to be thats all you needed. A DI setup needs pressure about like that of a diesel. Ive ever seen an electric only DI rig, but they probably exist.

Most vehicles do as well, a low pressure one to move the fuel to the rail, and a high pressure circuit for the Di pump driven off the cam. It had to build pressure somehow - so clearly there had to be a pump somewhere. A better question would be will be enough to create an uphill draw...

One of the things I like about the Honda 2K series compared to many others of the same form factors is that it actually uses a fuel pump vs gravity. The upside to this is that you can put a remote fuel tank below or parallel to it - and it will still run. Any idea if the new 3K also has a pump?
