    Moving an AC Recycle Machine

Old thread. Thanks for the advice. Luckily I got the machine home and it works. Would be interested to know if there is anything to maintain an recycler machine since you service them?

Most useful automotive lab scope accessories for a begginer?

Also a great thread on GJ for using a scope from a member by the name of Stick. Good read. I have it bookmarked. Guess I am kind of nerdy. https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=115308

At the time, I wanted to get it from the local echo mom and pop store and they had the 255 in stock.

    echo handheld blowers

I have the 255 for the past few years. I really like it. Quieter and better made than the craftsman it replaced. Highly recommend. However I just switched to the Milwaukee m18 blower and it’s not quiet as powerful but pretty close. And you don’t smell like 2 cycle gas when you are done.

    Diy hvac tools

I am kind of in the same boat. I like working on my vehicles and hate not being able to do AC work. So I started investing in a few tools but an AC Recycle machine is the game changer. That is what you need to have to really do AC systems properly (and legally). I suppose you can get by...

    Swivel impact sockets

For you guys that are using SK, how do you like the durability? Was looking at the amazon reviews and some reviewers said they had them break after a short amount of time.

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

Does it struggle with a regular socket or with one of the weighted crank sockets?

    Matco tool grid toolbox organizers

I am pretty sure I saw the original company advertise on my facebook feed. If it pops back up, I will add the link. But it certainly wasn't Matco.

Cub cadet zero turn hub removal

Try a hub puller? I have a zforce 44 so curious what happens here. Most things on those are serviceable but those hydro units are the exception.

Denny's TOPTUL Adventure is coming to an end.

I keep hearing about the Toptul quality. I decided to try a set when I heard Eric O at the youtube channel South Main Auto talk about how great the open end wrench is on the extra long combo wrenches. That guy is pretty tough on tools so at the cost, figured I'd try a set. I have some...

Denny's TOPTUL Adventure is coming to an end.

About a week ago, I just purchased long combo wrench set from Dennis. They seem nice. Decided I wanted the sae set so ordered the individuals from Wren since Dennis didn’t sell them. Ordered the today about 10 minutes before I saw this thread. Good luck Dennis and hope Wren fills my order.

    Smoke Pro disassembly

Not really. It makes smoke well, but the flow meter sticks. They are separate directions on cleaning, which I have done, but wondering if the previous owner used something other than the redline solution that may be thicker. Thought I'd try and give it a good cleaning and see if the flow...

    Smoke Pro disassembly

Anyone ever take apart a Redline Smoke Pro and clean it? I have the Matco version that I got off craigslist a few years ago. Would like to remove the old fluid and clean it. Curious if anyone has done.

    1/2" Milwaukee or compact?

I vote mid-torque. Especially if you have a big air impact to get anything heavy. The mid-torque will do 90% of what you need. Just the other day I buzzed off some axle nuts on my jeep with the mid-torque and it took them off easy. And with the others said the 2.0 batteries make for a much...

Anyone with their own bolt & nut gauge?

My Craftsman (made by Lang) 48 piece thread restorer kit is my thread pitch gauge. Has most sizings at least in the middle...not too big...not too small...sizes. Plus is handy to clean up threads.
