I installed white VCT in my basement but never sealed the tiles. After a few months of traffic the tiles started to yellow and I wasn't able to restore them even with the buffer I used. I ended up buffing them as best as I could then putting the VCT sealer over them.

That sounds like BS that they can sue you 3 years after the sale unless you deliberately hid something. It's not like they bought a new house either. I could make a list of things I found wrong with my house over a few years of ownership.
