I’ve been thinking about making a Wilton baby bullet shelf using power arms as supports. After wandering around Home Depot I found the perfect solution for the extensions I needed to raise the shelf up to the right height. One inch gas pipe fit snugly over the power arm studs and the floor mount...

Nice find on the Prentiss 19. The good news is it looks like the previous owner spray bombed the vise right over the original patina. It also looks like he didn’t sand down the cast iron so it should look look great with a natural finish. Prentiss didn’t date their vises but I would say yours...

Wow, that 207 is a beauty. You don’t see those very often and yours looks like it’s in great condition.

I finally found my my number one wish list vise and I couldn’t be happier. This is a Prentiss vise no 98, it has 8-1/2” jaws and weighs in at 322 lbs. Only a handful of these have been seen and I’m really excited to finally have one. The last pic is of a Prentiss 58 and 98 on the same bench.

As a Prentiss collector I’m over the moon right now. I just got this Prentiss 208 and it’s in beautiful condition. This is an extremely rare vise and it’s only the third one I’ve seen and the first one with arched lettering. It has 2” jaws and opens up 2-1/2”. I just finished stripping the old...

I like to collect small Prentiss no. 18 vises so when this rarely seen grafitti script model came up for sale I jumped at the chance to own it. The vise has 2-5/8” jaws and weighs in at 17 lbs. Having spent it life on the coast in Alaska it was a bit rusty but still in great condition for its...

The newest Chicago cast baby bullet that I have is from 1970. I have Chicago cast toddlers from the late 70’s and Schiller park toddlers from the early 80’s.

It’s funny that you mention that. I have yet to procure a Schiller Park baby bullet for my collection. I’ve seen a few of them but they don’t come up very often. The one in your photo looks like it’s in beautiful condition.

I just got lucky on this one. The guy took great care of the vise over the years and I’ll do the same.

I found this Wilton baby bullet vise and it’s probably the cleanest one I’ve ever seen. The original paint and sticker are like new and the powerarm (which I believe it was originally mounted to) is perfect. The stamp date of 12/30/66 makes it 55 years old. The vise came from a retired...
