Well, it's not my favourite blue either, I only have a stationary saw for metal, I took everything apart prior to use, I didn't trust it at all :) But it's fine concerning safety, concerning quality .... still a good value for money! Well, sometimes shipping fees in England can be...

If you're looking for some Facom socketry, you should have a look at The Tool Academy ebay shop, or on ebay.co.uk. I don't know about Facom's prices in Romania but compared to Belgium there are sometimes big differences. I don't think that everything at the tool academy worth to be bought there...

Are you crazy??? After years and thousands of euros spent over the internet just to train my postman!? It's just as you'd ask me to say to Sebastian Vettel to become a taxi driver now... :lol_hitti Yup, Sip are not exactly the same but look very similar, I was a bit confused when they refered...

:bounce: Héhé, it's not because it's made in Taiwan that the quality can't be as good as what we produce here, we're not in the 50's anymore :lol_hitti I have some news concerning my european made floor jack price researches, I went this afternoon to my local auto supplies shop, I was prepared...

I wait to receive everything for the photo shoot! Anyway I'm at my "university apartment" during week days, I haven't seen these new tools yet either. My mum told me that the postman always looks so exhausted we he arrives at home with the parcels, he will have a lot of work this week:lol_hitti...

Thank you all for your inputs! I know almost exactly what I want now... I've also contacted the different brands to know for some local distributors, I prefer to buy in a "real" shop than on the internet (when it's not twice the price), it's the same principle than buying european tools...

Thanks Matthew! I knew I had already seen another danish floorjack brand than Compac but couldn't remember the name. I searched for pricing on the web but couldn't find anything else than prices in the US, which can be very different from european prices, even if it's produced here... You get...

Hi guys! I'd like to buy a good jack (I don't have one), something normal: -2 tons -Minimum height around 80 mm -Maximum around 500mm, -Weight doesn't really matter, nor space -Price around 250-300€, might be a bit more for something of really good quality. The only "fancy" thing I'd like...

Good choice, good quality metrology tools are already nice tools to play with but Mitutoyo have something more :) Anyway, it's just that while I was browsing ebay.de for a 50-75 I found this auction: Mitutoyo 75-100 And remember you were looking for one, it's still sealed and from the last...

I like the 440 for their "innovative" design but I really don't understand why they made a sharp edge at the fork end...:headscrat, it's also a pity that they're thicker than the 40, I guess it was nice to gain strenght but.... For those who want some Facom 40's, this ebay seller in Germany...

 it looks relly nice! Actually I know some places where a bottle opener is an essential tool to keep the factory running :bounce: I have the Facom version (since 1 year), called "Swingo", used it again this afternoon and still not convinced, for 75euros I wish I would have bought a...

I think that's what some people miss about Facom, more heavy duty, more France, less shiny chrome, less "no COO on the tool and the box" (or at least with enough difficulties to find that you can't after a careful inspection :) ). The guy (on ebay.de) had the complete set from 6 to 32, my tool...

@ Monte It looks like Airbus is a good Lista customer :bounce: I've just received a few Facom socket wrenches I bought on ebay.de, not the most used sizes (29,26,24,23). These are the 76 series (hex in one side, bi-hex the other side), they're quite old, not OGV, but never used, made in France...

Thanks for explanations, I think I'll go for HSS-G, maybe Co5 the price difference isn't that high. I'm not sure about the brand yet, I'll have a look at the Tivoli's that Maxipouce recommended before trying Ruko's. No Bauhaus in Belgium, however as I'm close of the German boundary (near...

Glad to see you post some drill bits Monte! I like the Reca one, it looks well finished, does it do the job as well as it looks? Actually I was going to ask you about Ruko, do you know if they're any good? I'd like to buy a decent 1-13 mm drill bit set and as Ruko's fit my budget I wondered...

Nice hex key set! I've always been curious about these "catcher ball" keys, do they really work? I mean, is the allen screw sticked on the key or is it just an "help" in difficult situations? If it works well I might be tempted in buying a set :) Thanks!

    Tools from the old world

Nop, I just bought the BMW group and the previous owners told me that the only tool missing in the factories was a pair of scissors to cut the carbon fibre cloth. So I ordered one and took a picture before sending it to the plant, I'm broke now :bounce: Sounds good about the luxury designer's...

Thanks for the informations about the torque wrenches, I'll for a Gedore or Hazet so... About the 40% rule it's just something I've heard on forums, I don't think that I saw it mentioned in something more "official" I got them as gift in my cornflakes box, making a big mess each time...

From Farnell's website it says the last main production step of the 440's has been done in Italy. As the Usag 285 wrenches look identical to the 440's (except for the brand name:)) they're probably made in Italy...

@ maxipouce Thanks for the advises about the 3/4 sockets, I'll keep watching on ebay for a bargain. I saw in another post that some GJ members had a really nice deal on 3/4 Koken sockets, I'll wait for something like that. Thanks also for the informations about the Dynapact wrenches, I received...
