Tvs in the garage and dust?

Do it - you won't regret it. I've had a 50" flat screen (cheapo from Sams club) & 7.1 onkyo receiver out in the garage for about 2 years - no issues at all. Compressed air & a little dusting every now and then seems to be sufficient.

You da man! Yep that is definitely on my to do list. Thanks for the link! Ideally I'd like to have three modes for it: 1) Automatic sequencer. 2) Individual switches so I can have any light(s) on/off 3) Function as a car parking assistant. Still have to figure that one out -...

    dubber's double

I'm liking the small touches! I feel the same way about having a clean car in the winter. Just washed my truck in the driveway last night (~40 degrees) & then pulled it in the 70 degree garage for drying and a v7 once-over. Can't get much better than that! To be clear - I do use the touch...

Cleaned & Painted the traffic light - also installed a cross brace between joists to hang it from & ran an electrical outlet for it. Added more trackwall, moved my SCAG banner, and mounted my shopvac on this side because the traffic light took up too much room. And of course "Randy"...

    Craftsman Two-Car Space

Picked this up yesterday - now I need to find a place to hang it. It's much bigger & much, much, much brighter than expected. I'm going to have to shade the lenses or something. I will probably hook up a sequencer to it eventually (or if I get really bored, I'll hook up garage door...

Nice choice for the coffee mug too!

The garage entrance has a ~3/4" step up from the driveway. I laid black vinyl baseboard on the ground (with liquid nails) to hide 3/4" lip (like I did under the racedeck to hide the nasty gap between the concrete and the brick. The racedeck trim is on the same level as the rest of the floor...

Got a Husky LED light - quite bright and it doesn't get hot like my old halogen: While I was at the Home Depot, I realized these wooden tops (made by Husky for Husky cabinets) would absolutely fit the Craftsman. Not sure how I missed these! Now it matches my workbench.

Great idea with the alloy band instead of the red. I've thought about replacing my red tiles with that color as well (I now feel like I have too much red!). Nice work as always. Can't wait to see the finished product!

Thanks! Yes I do all the normal maintenance (and I put a 2.5/1.5 leveling kit on my truck) in the garage. It's perfect for me and easy to keep clean since I don't do any welding, carpentry or grinding. I can change the oil and watch football with 7.1 surround sound at the same time. That's...

I'm basically done with this garage. Will probably be moving in a couple years and will then be looking for a two or three car with a high ceiling. The high ceiling is going to be a must for me next time as I think it adds a considerable amount of versatility (high lift garage door, high...

I hired an electrician who spent a full 8 hrs in the garage. He ran a 240v with a new breaker. All of the recessed cans (which he also installed) are on one switch (dimmable LED bulbs). Then I have the shop lights and neon sign on another switch. The wall outlets are split between two more...

Looking nice, Dubber! Keep up the great work! I added 9 outlets to my double, which came with a whopping single outlet. Best decision I've made.

    New first time home owner.

I just wedged some of the styrofoam from the packaging behind the lower portion of my cabinets to keep them parallel with the wall. Hasn't moved in over a year.

Thanks - I'm in Charlotte too actually! Panthers sign is currently under rehab - I think the transformer died on me? It will make it back up by the time football starts again! It's funny because I started out thinking I'd be going down a gray/black route. But the red and black slowly took...

The one on top is the 150BT from Lowe's - the one on the bottom is the 356BT. I highly recommend the 150BT for price/power/reliability. I actually just bought another one for my father-in-law. If noise is an issue - which it is with my neighbors - the 356BT can't be beat. I'm pretty sure...

Now I'm just nit-picking... Added more gray paint & shelving to this wall It's not Craftsman - but at least it matches. Also put another "trouble light" on the other garage track.
