    Epoxy to Racedeck

So currently I have the tan Rustoleum water-based epoxy floor with the Rustoleum solvent-based clear coat. While I do like it and it has served me well for about a year a half, I'm ready for something different. I really like the simple design of 55cadillacking and dubber's flooring, but I...

Thanks! Gas and Oil is no problem. Plasma cutting on the other hand - I'm not sure about that as I have zero experience. Maybe someone else can offer some insight? :dunno:

Good eye! Yep all of the wooden shelving is the GORM from Ikea. The workbench and fish tank stand are built from regular 2x4's.

Picked up a new compressor last night - this one won't fit in the attic so it'll stay in plain sight. I'll probably get rid of that air rail now and just use a regular retracable air hose reel.

Thanks! Haha yes the fish tank is a must for me :) Haha thanks I try to keep it clean. I do every now and then. I actually put a lift on my old 4runner in there! Traded in the clean 4runner for the F150 this past november. I guess I should change my username? :) Thanks! I still...

It's a compressed air rail. It's kind of hard to explain so here is what the instructions say: The tapping carriage slides back and forth along the rail. There is a tapping valve near each end. Simply by deflecting the hose sideways in the working direction, or approx. 50° crosswise, the...

Haha absolutely OCD when it comes to the yard, garage & truck. Everything else - the wife can handle. Looking forward to seeing your setup! Thanks! I agree - that is really annoying (already has an extra stash of hangers ;) )

Haha that was someone else that said I had the Gladiator Garage Caddy - I have this - http://www.craftsman.com/craftsman-versatrack-trade-paper-towel-holder/p-00931930000P?sLevel=0&redirectType=SKIP_LEVEL And ignore the bad reviews - just throw away the instructions and stare the pieces for a...

Gladiator attachments will not fit into Husky. Only Craftsman and Husky are interchangeable. Basically buy all the Husky stuff because it's cheapest (track and hooks/baskets). If you need something cool, like the paper towel holder, buy it from craftsman and hang it on your husky trackwall...

Thanks! We don't have any kids or car projects at the time, so it's easy to keep clean for now. Give me a couple more years and it'll be a different picture

I actually use Husky Trackwall because the price at home depot is the best (7.98 for the track). It's exactly the same as the Craftsman trackwall, but that's 9.99 unless on sale. All of the hooks I use are husky brand as well, with the exception of the paper towel holder (craftsman). Thanks...

It's been down for over a year. Hot summer 6000 lb truck - no problem. I will say that it won't hold up to sharp objects (like a jackstand without a base). I do have to be somewhat mindful but overall I'm very happy with cost vs. benefit.

Thanks! Oh no - a garage is never done ;) My plan is to add a 20 gallon IR garagemate compressor in the corner, fill one of the cabinets with air tools, replace all wood shelving with craftsman red/black cabinets and/or chests. I'll probably leave the floor as is. Although red/black...
