Thanks Bib! I am using the 1-1/2 board insulation salvaged from the poultry houses to insulate the entire building including the roof. Later I may add blown insulation as well.

Still battling heat and little help but I am slowly making progress. Had one piece of roof tin get damaged in a storm and bent another so I came up 2 sheets short and had to order them before I can finish the roof.

Thanks for the tip! I salvaged the big pieces and I'll use all I can. I picked up some more yesterday and after I finish celebrating the birthday of America.. It's back to work on the roof tomorrow!

We got one side of the roof done yesterday. While we were eating dinner a storm came up and although it was weighted down with lumber, my insulation pile ended up broken and in my neighbors yard. So, instead of putting on the other half of the roof tomorrow, I get to hunt down some insulation.

Got some super sweaty work done over the weekend and sold my Harley to finance my last metal siding purchase. Roof goes on tomorrow!

Progress is slow just being able to work a couple hours now and then between the heat and work. We did get some sheeting up though.

I'm trying REALLY hard to come in under $10k for a complete building counting dirt work, concrete and electrical. I'm running up on that hard but I think I can do it!

My wife's uncle came over Saturday and we spent a blistering day framing the end walls. 9 sweaty hours later, we are almost ready for insulation and tin!

It will function ok and I don't think it's a trip hazard. Just looks bad. I poured it myself and that seam just didn't come out right. I wouldn't grind the whole floor. Just the seam and about 1-2 feet on one side of the seam.

Of course if I do this, I'll be going with some sort of coating for the floor so it won't look so bad.

I put a down payment and ordered most of the metal sheeting yesterday. it will be here Tuesday so... No rest for me this long weekend! I've got to get the fascia and some other odds and ends done as well as picking up the insulation for the roof.
