I understand about the engineer not knowing better, but also I believe that the best options are not taken sometimes because of bean counters wanting the cheapest price, or the sales department wanting it yesterday or other outside influences. On the other side of the coin there needs to be some...

I have never understood this hate for engineers. My brain doesn't work that way but I am clever enough to understand that our world could not exist without engineers. At least some of us value you and your colleagues.

Just a suggestion. Have you thought of a GoFundMe or similar for building accomodation for Lara? I'm sure you would get a lot from this site alone. You have a lot of supporters on here and Lara was universally liked when she was spending so much time with you.

I'm glad you asked because I'm interested too. My smart alec answer was going to be "the same reason Strouty needs so many forklifts" but then I realised that it was less than helpful:rolleyes:

I see! The new totally enclosed, no connections required version. I heard they were not very efficient and there's the proof;)

So if he's a ways away why are his local banks shut? Your logic just doesn't work here.

I must say that I agree about the impressive numbers in Metric including ladies measurements! I had also forgotten about Americas metric currency. It does seem to be particularly odd to have one without the other. Please understand folks we are not trying to say that one countries system is...

"Last forklift ever". You might be able to fool yourself Strouty but you ai'nt going to be able to slip that one past us:ROFLMAO:

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

And what's worse - you can't moan about that previous bodger!

Personally I don't care what you do as long as it's all in. In theory we went metric in the 70's but it was half-assed because the government knew there would be a lot of opposition. So we still sell beer in pints, measure roads in miles and calculate fuel consumption in miles per gallon. It is...

Now that's a major improvement! And if you can start on the jobs you will start using some of that gear and expose even more floor space. Go for it!
