i just got done with my garage and used valspar paint and primer from lowes. i used tinted pva primer first but ran out on the small wall. i put 1 coat on all the walls with the paint and 2 coats on the wall that didnt have primer.the wall without primer looks just as good as the others, dont...

i just got a couple of wall mount cabinets and was wondering if you mount direct to the wall or use the bracket and plastic track? thanks

any thoughts on having a stripe or a moulding between the 2 colors?or should i leave it as is?

forgot to mention i used zinsser ceiling paint, 24 a gallon and am happy with the results.

thanks tim for the answer to the primer question. i'll look into the primer for the walls but as far as the ceiling its done, 2 coats of paint and it looks real nice.

the sheetrock is almost ready for paint and primer. i was thinking of using the paint that also works as a primer. i've used it on wood trim and it worked well. anyone use it on sheetrock and how were the results?

first coat of mud is on, it will be done monday or tuesday. wife wants coffee colored walls, can't decide on the first 4 ft.

the sheetrock is finally up. hopefully the mudding starts this week.

sem makes a plastic adhesion promoter in a spray bomb, it works well. i use it on unprimed bumper covers. clean and sand it and it should work for you.
