    Back flush toilet

I have a back flush head in my shop. It leaks when it is flushed. I had a plumber install it so I have not taken it from the wall to figure this out yet. Research shows me that it has some type of fiber gasket instead of a wax ring (like a floor evacuating unit). With wax rings and floor...

    LED light capacity

I plan on installing some flush mount lights. Kinds without cans. The room is 12’ x 16’ with 7’6” ceiling height. I’ve prewired for 8 lights which I’ll install after Sheetrock. I can’t find light projection plan to see if 4”, 6” or 8” will work best. It is in a tool room in my shop. Thanks.

    Sound deadening in floor

So I am at the point that I will be insulating the floor next. I can't double up the flooring or do any structural or framing modifications. Doubling up on the sheetrock is a possibility but I don't know that I have the headroom for a "hat channel". The questions that I may not have...

    Sound deadening in floor

I am building an apartment above my shop. The floor joists are 2X10. I intend to use rockwool batts in the joists and cover with sheetrock. The joists have an assortment of plumbing and electrical connections running thru them. I cannot find rockwool 10" thick. Is it effective to use 2X8 or...

    Bathroom exhaust

I need to install an exhaust unit on a bathroom I am remodeling. I am looking for a unit that mounts outside the wall. I installed one about 15 years ago and can not find the material info. Anybody have any leads on this?

    Motor oiler inspection port

It does not. It is wired, bolted into the wheel and dropped into a slot. Pulling it up and out with the wheel assembly is the only way to get it out.

    Motor oiler inspection port

I have a down draft hot air furnace. I need ti oil the motor, it has 2 oil ports. I can get to 1 fairly easily with the motor in place in the cabinet. The other port is impossible to reach with the use of magnetized lights and mirrors. the space is impossible to fit my hand in and manipulate...

    GFCI Breaker popping

So can I test this breaker in this manner by just switching it off or does the testing need to be done when it is "tripped"?

    GFCI Breaker popping

I am away from home, work remotely. I believe it is a Siemens. This seems to fault or trip when I am out of town. Can't be my wifes' fault??? LOL

    GFCI Breaker popping

Well that would ****. Why the intermittent fault and reset? wouldn't it just fail and remain that way?

    GFCI Breaker popping

At the 1st building there is a 3 way switched lite fixture, with a switch in the house and out at the lights. Then the power "daisey chains" or goes "in series" from there

    GFCI Breaker popping

I may have put in an AFCI but don't think so. I'm a bit confused by the applications and their use. The odd part is that this just recently started and I don't know what triggers it. Everything worked fine for years which led me to believe it was a faulty breaker. It will trip and not hold...
