Riddle me this about HF saw blades

Sure, but if people need a saw blade, they generally can’t wait until it is on ssle. Harbor Freight has “convenience store” pricing on more than a few items imo

Riddle me this about HF saw blades

Not news, but Harbor Freight does not necessarily sell competing products at the lowest prices any more. :dunno:

How did Snap On become the standard?

They are for sure - without doubt, the standard Harbor Freight goes up against, regarding hand tools.

How did Snap On become the standard?

Aren't they, by far, the largest of the tool truck brands?

Any harbor freight bauer or hercules cordless tools to stay away from?

Or, just don't use plywood. It shouldn't be too much to ask, That a tool advertises certain capabilities, actually be capable. IMO, Even if it is Harbor Freight.

Any harbor freight bauer or hercules cordless tools to stay away from?

Since they are all now made in China, I'm wondering if if it's not so much the HF stuff is priced cheap, or if Milwaukee is just overpriced. I have the Hercules 1/4" brushless hex and 1/2" ultra torque impact drivers. Never will see a need to upgrade even if I used them all day long...

    Staple Gun

I thought about that when I posted. If i used one even somewhat regularly, I'd probably have a cordless. It's almost too hard to justify purchase now, even using GJ logic.

Tall floor jacks as an (inconvenient) vehicle lift

With a floor jack, just not as high, to use those jack stands, which look to be designed to use with some type of portable, minimal height lift. If going with the wood block thing, might a well just leave them in place. Looks pretty stable. :dunno:

    Staple Gun

I thought manual staplers were a thing of the past. :headscrat They always seem to be in with the leavins, at sorted estate auctions. Don't use one much, but the electric Bostich model I have - click, click, click, was what I thought was the direction everyone was going.

New Snap On vs HF "Quality test"?

Maybe I'm stuck just in a practical world. :dunno: I have a set of Pittsburg deep impacts 15 years now. No problems and I don't use them every day, but if I did and they wore/broke, I can get them replaced for free. I paid about $20, but they can be had today for $30. A similar set of Snap On...

New Snap On vs HF "Quality test"?

Fair enough, that if you want more, you should have more. Thank you for making that clear.

New Snap On vs HF "Quality test"?

Sorry to hear that. A combination wrench either works right, or it doesn't. What more do you want?

New Snap On vs HF "Quality test"?

Hell no. I'd buy some other value priced brand. Really, the quality of most stuff out there any more, is adequate.
