Tekton angle head wrenches usa made

Yep, use them constantly for hydraulic fittings and hard-to-reach bolts/nuts. They are actually much cheaper than 30% of SO. If you look on the SO website the VS814A is a 14 pc set that rings in at $920. The Tekton WAE90108 is a 19pc set and its only $238.

    Snap On Plastic Trays

I mean, they say "Snap-On" on them so I'm sure you can find a sucker somewhere that will pay $200 a piece for them. seriously though, I threw all of mine away several years ago. Unless you dont plan on ever selling the tools, I would keep them at the house somewhere. If you ever do decide to...

    AN Wrenches

I am not at all familiar with AN fittings outside of aviation... people actually buy special wrenches for them? I use regular open end wrenches, angle wrenches, and crows feet.

    Not another screwdriver thread

Aircraft mechanic here, so I don't deal with nearly as much dirt and grime, but I regularly have my hands and tools soaked in 5606 hydraulic fluid, and occasionally engine oil. I have the long shaft version of the high torque, and I actually prefer it over my Snap-On screw driver. The fit with...

    Tekton vs Gearwrench socket set?

Those are Hansen rails. Hands down the best way to organize sockets IMO. You can buy a set from harbor freight for pretty cheap.

    Tekton vs Gearwrench socket set?

Tekton hands down. Unbeatable customer service, build quality is soild across the majority of their tools (expections being a few of their ratchets and their click style torque wrenches), 10% back on in store purchases, and free shipping is the icing on the cake.

Quality headband head lamp that is bright

Black Diamond is my go to. I use it regularly crawling around in fuselages. Not sure what the model is but I use rechargable AAAs in it. I have heard great things about Fenix as well.

what are the options for loaded tool boxes for automotive work

Yup. It is a huge pain. A more space efficient way to do it would be a system like Tool Grid. If only it wasnt so darn expensive. If a fellow had access to a CNC router and a 3D printer you could pretty much make the whole system yourself... but who has that kind of time lol.

    Show your new tool arrivals

Yep, made in canada. I checked out Rousseau's website and even got a quote for a box that was more what I wanted, but the shipping alone was $800 through them (free through Tekton) and buying it through tekton during black friday, I got 20% back to spend on tools in their store. Yes! The box is...

    Show your new tool arrivals

My new baby from Tekton finally showed up yesterday. A ORG75200 60W X 24L X 42.5H. Some of the things I really love about it: - It came well packaged in a wooden crate. No damage at all even to the container so good job on the shipping co! - The full length drawers are actually really awesome...

Any word on when SK will actually be up and running

Because I live in America and would rather, if at all possible, my purchases go toward building American businesses. That's all. I will definitely still be purchasing from SK, and no doubt it will be helping out a lot of American families who work at the US plant, it would just be nice to know...
