That looks like a manufacturing defect in the tool. Id try wrenching on the other ones to see if they hold up. I understand the frustration but defects in the metal can happen in any factory. Could have been a contaminate in the metal. Very sorry to hear about your pride being diminished...

I would check radioshack. In the hobby cabinets usually toward the back of the store. They usually have all the odds and ends I have ever looked for and have a large selection of small hobby type bulb. Just bring the light with you for size and make sure its a 12v bulb.

Would the grinder run if it was only getting 110 instead of 230 on the High voltage circuit? Also where are the jumpers for the voltage wiring? under the cover opposite the shaft? Also i found the blades are 109504 but cant find the blades anywhere to order one. So still need a blade...

its a 10. Im running on 110 could it be set up for 230? Are they abrasive wheels the brown ones? It does stall out when cutting and hardly cuts at all after a 1/4". Its definately not as fast as the direct drive chop saws ive seen. Probably less than 1/2 the speed.

Well I know it has the wrong blade on it so I tried it with that but it doesnt cut too well with the abrasive wheel. It was given to me with this blade on it but i think its too slow for it. What kind of blde belongs on it? What can I effeciently cut with it? I need a metal chop saw so...
