Rats tunneling under the shop slab. What to do?

Flex pipe to the tailpipe of a car or small engine of some sort, to gas them out? Most new rat poison comes in bait stations to keep unintended critters out. My experience with these bait stations has not been too good.

Ditto on sanding flap wheel or "firecracker" as stated above.

    Parts washer

Had good luck with the 3 gallon one from Northern. I like it for being able to take it to the mess, such as cleaning up after failed hub seals on trucks, or for really nasty jobs where I don't want to trash the solvent in my 30 gallon washer.

    Harbor Freight Port a Power?

I've got the 4ton HF set and for the little I've used it, it's paid for itself, and worked well. One of those tools where when you need it, nothing else will do.

    Tips & Tricks

Re: Tips & Tricks I've epoxied old speaker magnets to bottoms of oil cans. Keeps them from getting knocked over. Some I have just stuck neodymium magnets inside the can. 20ga shotshell hull over grease gun tip keeps tip clean, and grease off everything else.

    Wash bay in garage?

A friend incorporated a wash bag into his farm shop build. When washing really dirty stuff, the catch basin will fill up fast. He made a large steel box to line his that can be lifted out with tractor and loader, and taken out and dumped. Works pretty slick.

Hmmmm. Li-On batteries for my 19.3 Craftsman tools, Load Pro meter leads and Book, Fluke TLK 282 test lead set would be among my faves for 2016.
