    Milwaukee 700 Lumen USB Flashlight

Lol...already have one and love it for a work light. Milwaukee will be more for general use. Been baling a lot of hay at night, so a good flashlight is useful.

    Milwaukee 700 Lumen USB Flashlight

Well, I own it. Ended up getting it bundled in with a new FatMax tape measure and some video game my youngest son wanted, for $30. Think it'll be decent for my uses.

    Par-X Tools

    Only Par-X I've got is a 3/4" ratchet. It's identical to a Snap-On other than finish.

    Milwaukee 700 Lumen USB Flashlight

I'd like it, but it's going to have to be a better price. At $25 I'd bite.

    Milwaukee 700 Lumen USB Flashlight

Played around with one of these at a pawnshop yesterday. Like new and priced at $35. Seemed like a pretty well built light. Anybody got one?

    Recommend some multimeter leads

Love the Fluke TLK 282 set. Best $ I've spent on test leads.

    Rejuvenating Leather Handles

Picked up a nice Woodmans Pal last weekend in a pawnshop in Wichita. Great overall condition, but I'd like to treat the leather handle to help it last. This has a handle of stacked leather washers, like an Estwing hammer. These aren't cracked or loose...I just don't want them getting that way...

    Montezuma "portable" boxes?

Love mine. Best thing ever for a farm truck toolbox. It sits on top of a WeatherGuard packrat with gas powered air compressor. This has fork pockets underneath so I can set the whole thing in/out in minutes.

Can't tell you anything about it, but it's cool! Got an old Bishman tire machine I use quite a bit.

    Auctions good or bad?

Starting to see some Amish filter into our area. At most farm sales they're all out behind the machine sheds, smoking store bought cigarettes and ******* around on their smartphones. When they do bid, they are serious. Got more good deals than I can recall at auctions, and they are a social...

    DIY/tool/automotive-related books

I have always liked the Audels guides, and an old copy of Popular Mechanic's "The Boy Mechsnic" was a favorite when I was a kid.

In praise of Wright 3440 -- 3/8 mini flex ratchet

That Wright is badass! Fondled one at HJE a few weeks back and was really impressed. If I didn't have its SK equivalent I'd have bought the Wright.

Freud Diablo carbide tipped metal cutting blade

Those blades are the ****! Use them a lot on cordless recip saw for rusted bolts, or places you don't want to use a torch. Hard to believe how good, until you use one!

Anvil Prices - Have People Gone Crazy?

Watched a pretty nice 150# Peter Wright sell for $260 on a consignment auction a few weeks back. Best prove I've seen for one in a long time.

    M12 Ratchet Run Time

Bought a Non-Fuel Milwaukee ratchet a few weeks back. Love this thing, but just got done using it to R&R a skidloader engine, probably a total of 30 bolts, in and out, but noticed battery was pretty close to dead as I finished up. Just wondering if that's about normal? I'm sure runtime varies...

    M12 Ratchet Head Boot

Thanks guys! It's not a Fuel. Honestly I think the head is too big on those anyway, and I don't really want a bunch of torque on a ratchet.

    M12 Ratchet Head Boot

Had my eyes out for one of these after using a coworkers a couple times. His was about shot, but been heavily used for several years in industrial maintenance. Found one in a pawnshop Saturday morning, in brand new condition, and got it for $90 out the door, including battery & charger. Used it...
