Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT The Garage at The Place in The Valley (Garage Condo 45x23x20)

Naturally I had to skip the Heartland Park DE that you were able to attend. Glad it went well.

    Sleek98's 40x50 Shop and house

"The cost of batteries made the payback period to go completely off grid just not make sense. At 11.59 a month and net metering it would take 25-30 years to pay off the battery bank, which I don't believe the batteries would last that long." That's one aspect of solar that they don't talk...

    Sleek98's 40x50 Shop and house

Yours is what they call a "grid-tie" system, correct? One that does not utilize storage batteries. Impressive results.

The status of the almost-buyer's check would be interesting. At least you have possession of the car. Had the clutch not failed, who knows how this would have played out. Inquiring minds want to know. ;)

Above 1200 Sq/FT Zeph's Quasi WWII Era Shop

This is the first I've posted in your topic, but I've been busy going back through from page 1. I had thought about getting one of those surplus Humvees off Government Planet and doing a little fix-up - but after seeing the magic that you've worked with vehicles from my dad's era [WWII - 82nd &...

Truth be told, that's the rationale the spouse is getting to justify upgrading to Milwaukee. ;)

    Cordless Ratchet

I got a HF Earthquake unit and it wasn't powerful enough to do much of anything. Came with two batteries. Maybe I'll charge up and try again but the first use was really disappointing. I stopped shopping HF over a year ago because most everything they sell is made in a certain Asian nation...

Excellent work. I hope you're doing well in my home town. We haven't lived there since 1976, but Omaha is still home. :)

Above 1200 Sq/FT Hillside Barn Build

Nice addition. I'm glad you appreciate the old things. I have some antique furniture and other items that I inherited from parents and grandparents, but my kids [early 40's] and their generation don't care about any of it - except what it might bring on Ebay. Quality furniture to them is the...
