    Resealing a blackhawk S-4 ?

OK thank I will check it out. Do I just need a pin spanner to tighten the compression nut ? How tough is to build the specialty sockets ? The rest of the jack is really nice seems like I should go through it so stops dripping on the floor ? I assume it is normal for the rod and compression nut...

    Resealing a blackhawk S-4 ?

So I picked a really nice s4 and with a load left on it overnight it is leaking around the outer rod from the packing I assume. Is there a good to reseal it or do I need to dig into and do full rebuild ? If so has anybody done a full rebuild on one these that they might give me some pointers ...

Opinion on heating new shop build, and insulation. 24x36 pole barn.

Radiant heat will be more efficient for sure. The shop will feel warmer for sure. Even if you keep at 50 degrees then bump it up 55 when your working you will be comfortable moving around even in shirt sleeves. And everything touch will be warm. That's my 2 cents. FYI I was thinking radiant tube...

    For brazing - Oxy/Ace or Air/Ace?

Hard to argue with thousands of HVAC techs all they use is a turbo torch for HVAC work. What kind of work are you doing ? Light residential stuff or heavy commercial big line sets ?

    hein werner j-10 parts

If you cant find a seal kit you may want to take the seals by a local hydraulics shop and see if they can match them for you also might be a good idea to take the whole unit just in case.

    Silencing a compressor auto-drain?

Why not use an air muffler that is what I have on the end of auto drain for my compressor it took the noise down from being unbearable to in garage with it to a quick pssh of air that will startle you but not send you running for cover.

Freightliner FL60 hotshot hauler, the slow build. (seriously)

You need to be careful of the gvwr of the truck and trailer setup your building. I don't know if you have a cdl but 26001 gvwr requires a cdl. Just something to think about. Also I would check with dot regs based on your plans to make sure your legal like steve said above. I would hate to see...

    Good deal on a Bridgeport?

Depending on location that is dirt cheap there asking two or three times that for similar machines here in Colorado. This is the kind thing I was comparing the price to. http://denver.craigslist.org/tls/4999339913.html 6500 for 2hp dro and mininal tooling.

    Good deal on a Bridgeport?

I would say it is excellent deal if it was taken care of and not worn out. It looks pretty dirty. So I would be concerned with the conditions of the ways if the dirt and chips weren't kept off them it would mean big issues. But people with more experince will pipe up shortly I'm sure.
