Those are not Trusses. It's stick built with rafters, collar ties and ceiling joists.

As I have said before, go to your local steel supplier. They usually have an engineer on staff to help in sizing the correct size beam. Most don't charge for this service, if they do, it would be minimal. It's time well spent.

Take a water sample and have it analyzed. Cullgan and others, google your area, will do it for free. Another reason for the orange brown water could be heave metals. High iron content will do that. The analysis will tell all.

If it's yours, you should have no problem with it. You're the only one who would get flooded out if it gets blocked. You could always reroute it away from the new building.

It's a small building just stick build it with rafters. It may cost a little more but you will be better off than using trusses
