OK, this is ridiculous. At any rate I have, which look to be "untouched" set of metrics- oexm100, oexm 110, oexm120, oexm130, oexm140, oexm150, oexm160, oexm170, oexm180b, and oexm190b. None look like they have been used at all. This is, by far, the nicest set of so wrenches I've ever had---...

    Lectrolite and true fit

Hey folks, have a lot of wrenches marked with both "lectrolite" and "trufit." Some only say trufit, and some only say lectrolite. Were these two different companies at some point? I'm guessing they were and then merged together.... any info? cheers, bird

what the hell's going on with pricing?

I know ebay is a total RIPPOFF! But, I was looking through the ebay motors site at wrenches. I was astonished (SP) to see some of the "buy it now" prices. I was curious what the real value is with some of the wrenches I own. I have a few BMW wrenches... big deal, I think. I have a new...

    brother bought another lemon jeep

Hmmm, probably should have mentioned that my brother works ten hours a day and has a 3 and 18 month old kids. I suppose that cuts into the time you can work on a vehicle. He's rigged a light in his shop via a car battery. But, come on now... just not the right time for new/ OLD cars. I guess he...

    odd snap on wrench

    Oh, man, now I'm really confused!!! I have a set of snap ons that I thought were the same size, regardless of the "a" "b" or lack thereof. I have oex 58, 42, 40, 28, 26,24, 22, 20, 18, 16 and 12. I have what I thought was within the same set: "oex...b": 52, 36, 32, 30, 16, 14, 11, 10, 8...

    odd snap on wrench

OK, how do I post a reply to a specific post, rather than having all of my posts at the end of the entire post. Should I be using quote rather than quick reply ??? hmmm, does that make any sense?!

I thought oex was the "standard snap on wrench size"... Is the regular size wrench always followed with a letter (oex20b?).

    odd snap on wrench

Hi guys, I know a picture would be the best thing for me to post.... but, in the meantime, I have a snap on oex58 ( 1 13/16) wrench. It does not have the "chrome" finish. The entire handle is round. (it's a 12pt combo wrench). The wrench is 27 1/2 inches long verses the standard 23 15/32 in...

I don't understand what's so difficult about all of this. If someone has an add for an item, and you don't want it, don't reply. Just pass it by. It's quite simple: if you go in sears and you see a tool that's a bargain, you buy it. If it isn't a deal, do you go an yell at the manager because...
