    so and craig's list

Hi guys, I have just posted my snap on tools on craig's list. But, I don't know how to tell if responses are "legit" or some sneaky respose containing some virus that will shut down my computer. Hmmmm, the answer might have been to list them on here than somewhere else!!! But, if anyone has any...

    Wanted - JC Penney Wrenches

I didn't know that JC Penney had any such thing as wrenches! I'm quite curious now.... my grandfather worked throughout his entire life selling shoes in JC Pennies. As soon as I think of someone "selling" something, my mind goes straight to Arthur Miller's "Death of a Salesman." I know, it's...

hmmm.... beer goes down so quickly--- only wish work would go as fast!!! I work out of my shop, which is downstairs. I guess I don't quite fit into this site as I'm a woodworker and not a mechanic. But, I suppose drinking is something a lot of us have in common!!! FOr better or worse, alcohol...

    several questions

HI there, fairly new to the sight, but I LOVE IT!! I have several questions. Is there a way to save the posts, pms, replies, to your email account so that I can review them later? Can I change my "name" from [email protected] to "bird?" If so, how? Well, just a few questions that I'm...

    Snap on soex711

What IS the story with ebay??? I have bought several "box lots" of wrenches off of ebay. My rule of thumb is to buy wrenches that add up to a total with shipping to an average of less than a dollar per wrench--- but this is for "vintage wrenches" which often amount to "not much." I've never sold...

Hi there, I have aquired a lot of snap on tools. I have the xs 1012, 1214, 1820. 2024 that you're looking for. None have initials, the 1820a is new. I'm finding every comment I've made is showing up at the bottom of the page, rather then having the email next to whatever quote I was referring to. Is this because I always hit "quick reply rather than post reply? Hmmm, will remain a mystery unless someone can help me understand what I'm doing...

How Old Are You And When Did You Build Your Garage?

I'm now 32 .. or 33, can't ever remember... I think that's a bad sign!! I moved into my house because the bottom level of my house has a basement with two windows and two "french doors." Lots of sunlight!!! But, when I moved in, there was one bare light bulb in the bottom level/basement. After...

Do Chinese Sockets/Tools Have Any Value?

A while ago I took all of my "throw away" tools, and starting making tool sets out of them. At which point, I could give boys interested in tools a working set to start with. (I say boys, cause I haven't met a girl too interested in them..... accept for me!!) Just a thought, but I think it's...

    Tool Manufacturers

Hi there, I'm new to this, so bare with me. I read the pages on tool manufactures and may have missed this; does anyone know what "STW" tools are? I have a set of sockets, standard, 12pt, with just the size and "STW" on them. The sockets are HEAVY (in weight). I've not been able to find anyone...

    Tool Manufacturers

SAM"S club sells tools? What next??? No wonder I only use "vintage" or "antique" tools!!! It tells me something if I can use a wrench from late 19th , early 20th century and have it work perfect and solid. No guarenteed warranties back then--- they didn't need them!

    Tool Manufacturers
