    Agree , as long as it is cold temps, just cut the top off with a shovel etc, and drop it into a open garbage bag etc. Doesn't take much cool weather for them to go dormant.

    I think if you google Russel Beach tool boxes or something close to that there is a great bit of history about this company before it was bought up by i think Stanley? Been some time since i found it, great story, that plant was a booming business for many years.

    Could use help in choosing a new bench grinder

    You say you had a Chinese 8 inch grinder that was 3/4 HP. What amps were on the tag? Real N. American 3/4 HP motors should be at least 10 amp rating.

    For those that where wondering the Beach Roll cabs with no bottom drawer/drawers came like that when new, or of course you could buy a full set if required. Beach had a program called "Add a Drawer" that gave about 3 different drawer depths for those cabinets, the deepest being an 8inch deep one...

    Those stamped steel sockets look much to me like the old sets that were sold for model "T"'s, and made by the "Mossburg" company. I had a set, gave to an old collector friend, and the sizes were stamped differently, but cannot remember just how. (they weren't fractions.) I found mine with pics...

    Ok, i have that same mill, only the Canadian version , and i find it so far very good. I always see posts about only having two inches of drill travel. What are you drilling that you need MORE than two inches for? I have no problem with the two inches, don't forget the head goes up and down...
