Mac tools turn around time for warranty?

Considering the main reason why he comes here is ideally to sell me tools. I'm the main guy here since the other guys doesn't even bother purchasing from him. I would think he would at least rush the defectives out and have them for me within 2 weeks is understandable. Not 5 weeks + and...

I was a little mad that he didn't show up last week after saying the following week that the tools should be here that week. So I was hoping to received it last week but he didn't show up at all. So this week, I was really looking forward to having my tools back but the same old excuse. He said...

New, need advice on drawer liners.

I just finally got time to redo my Drawer Liners this weekend. I've bought the Ebay ones and they worked great. Didn't know cutting 24 pieces of Drawer Liners would take so long. Took me nearly 3 hours. http://www.ebay.com/itm/230709190159?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649...

    LED worklights

Why not get a Headlamp if you're going to spend tremendous time on servicing cars? It may seem Goofy looking but it gets the job done. After having a few American made headlamps that wasn't bright enough for me, I went on ebay an purchased a CREE Headlamp T6 LED. It runs on one 18650...

    Ball Joint kit needed

I have ALLDDATA Online. From Year 1966 to 2011. From 1966 to 1981 they are preloaded on CD's. The 2010 and 2011 list of cars doesn't list much information. $120 a month is the rate for us, that was through a sales rep. It has information on majority of cars out there along with labor hours.

    Ball Joint kit needed

There's a master kit out there that has Ball Joint Removal and Pitman Arms as well. 1-2 Ball Joint Removing/Pitman Arm Removing jobs will pay the set of tool already. I have a set, don't recall the brand.

    Wrench metric sizes 28, 31, 33, and 35

If that set has 29, 31, 33, and 35. I would buy that with no question ask. Got the job done, sensor out and replaced. I asked a friend of mines that has a welding shop not too far from where I work at and he gave me a farmers wrench. I'm not even sure if it's called a farmers wrench. The...

What tools have you left behind........

Not me but my Apprentice Technician left a Snap On 3/8'' drive long flex head Ratchet in a Transmission rebuild job on a 04 Honda Accord. The job was done Monday, but he just told me yesterday while working on a car. Since it was a expensive job, the customer is making weekly payments. I told...

    Workbench lighting....under cabinet...

They come with hangers and a timer switch as well. You can either use the light on the timer, or use the timer as a on/off switch. I have a canopy on my workbench and I've hung it right under the canopy.

    Wrench metric sizes 28, 31, 33, and 35

Was removing a External Low Fuel Pressure Sensor on a vehicle earlier today and it's size was 29mm. In a cramp space, mounted at a junction place with a bracket on the transmission housing, the 29mm Wrench would come in handy. Instead, had to walk to Napa in a 102 degrees weather only to find...

    Workbench lighting....under cabinet...

Go with the Aquarium Lighting! Hagen Glo. They have it in smaller sizes as well. I have the Hagen Glo 4 feet one, even with 1 bulb one it's bright as heck! Using two just makes it even brighter. If mounted 12'' up, you don't feel the heat. Here is a link to one being used in a Aquarium...

    Workbench lighting....under cabinet...

Do you want it to be really bright? I've just swap out my Single T8 4 feet shop fixture for a Aquarium light that is really bright. I'm using a Hagen Glo 4 feet fixture with 2x54 watts High Output PowerGlo T5 bulbs mounted 3 feet high. Lights up the entire work bench without a problem.

    Wrench metric sizes 28, 31, 33, and 35

Wrench metric sizes 28, 31, 33, and 35. How come these 4 metric sizes in Wrenches aren't used very often? I hate having a set where you have to buy other brands to just make it complete.

Welcome! I remembered my first Snap On tools, it was a Snap On Pry Bar. Loved it, until it grew legs and walked away!?! Had to buy another one to replace it. Once you start, you can't stop.
