Garage Door Not Fitting Tightly in Frame...

Here you go! These are shots of the track mount and rollers, as I can tell they are not adjustable, except for side to side track adjustment, which doesn't help me with an in/out adjustment. The brackets are riveted to the track. In the 2nd photo you can see all the light coming through, I'm...

Garage Door Not Fitting Tightly in Frame...

Great! How? As far as I can tell, the track is not adjustable. At least the track mounting brackets aren't adjustable.

Garage Door Not Fitting Tightly in Frame...

I've had my garage doors in for about two years, but have just recently noticed that both doors do not fit snugly in their frames. There is about a 1/4" of play in the doors when I push against them from the inside, while they are in their down position, until they rest against the frame. I...

    12V Battery Solar Trickle Charger?

Quick question regarding these windshield chargers, how do they charge the battery, when the 12V cig. lighter isn't powered when the key is off? Do these 12V cig. lighters allow for flow to the battery, but not from the battery when not keyed?

    12V Battery Solar Trickle Charger?

Do any of you have any pointers or first hand knowledge of good 12V solar trickle charging units? My shed still doesn't have power (money has been thin lately), but I need to keep my tractor battery on a trickle charger, so the obvious choice is solar, does anyone have any recommendations, or...

    Chainsaw Sharpener?

I own a Stihl Farm Boss and usually go through about 4-6 chains a season, I take these to my local TSC and they sharpen them for me for $5.00 per blade, IMO this is a pretty darn good deal; however, I want to be able to sharpen my own blades, should the need arise. I know nothing about the...

    gear oil transfer pump

I don't know if this will be of benefit or not; however, I use a hand held "Mighty Vac" when I pump from quart containers to differentials/transmissions. It does take some time and it appears that you may need something that can deal more efficiently with larger volumes. They have quite a few...

    Tire Weights

I usually agree with function over form, except in this instance. Nothing irks me more than seeing globs of lead plopped on the lips on nice wheels. I've always used static balances (versus dynamic) on all my vehicles and have always been pleased with the results. I get far more than the...

    3 car tandem pictures ??

My Dodge Ram fits in my 3 car garage (click signature for pics), but just barely. That has more to do with how I arranged my wall cabinets. I only have a few inches fore and aft of the truck, so it is a bit time consuming actually parking it in the garage.

small things that made your garage

Laundry Sink (You'll never realize how often you'll use one, until you have it) Awesome Lighting (like everyone else) Floor Epoxy (clean ups are a snap) 5.1 Surround Sound (no, I'm not joking--I GOTTA have tunes while I'm working) Triple Insulated Garage Doors/Fully Insulated Garage (I'm always...

Not really fabricating but, Anyone work on their own firearms?

Which safe did you get? I've been looking for quite some time, just haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet. As of late, Patriot Gun Safes have my eye...

    finally got my 3800 liftmaster

When I got new garage doors, I also raised the rails (on the 2 car bay side only) and added that exact opener, I love it! In fact, I like it so much, I now want to add another one to the single bay side.

Poor Man's Retro Retreat -- in 440 square feet

I love the counter top idea for the sink, I have the same type of sink and have been trying to think of ways to dress it up a bit...I might just have to steal your idea :) BTW, most excellent use of space...impressive.

    Surface Prep Poll

None of the above? My floor was virgin, I simply waited the prescribed amount of time for curing, gave it a good cleaning after it cured, then let it dry, and started to apply the products.

    A small 100' x 200' in the woods?

I was thinking the VERY same thing, but I gotta admit his skills are impressive and his design process is excellent. I just don't understand the roof. That sucker could withstand a nuclear blast (or zombie attack :lol_hitti ), but the roof....:headscrat
