    Is Shamwow a tool?

These things are nothing more than a more expensive rayon/felt type version of The Absorber, which has been on the market for YEARS. BTW The Absorber can be picked up at any local auto parts store for a few bucks. I'm VERY particular about my vehicles finish and I use and combination of a...

    Multi-color garage walls

Man that's nice, I love the less is more look...sadly I have too much **** to pull it off (and I'm not willing to part with any of it, lol).

    Multi-color garage walls

Thanks broh, actually those were taken before I put the workbench in. It sits exactly where the chair and roller carts sit in the photos. Like I said, I've added a bit since those photos: new garage doors (triple insulated) a jackshaft style opener and raised the rails for the large door, all...

PTO vs Engine Driven Log Splitters

Actually yes, the 2520 literally SIPS diesel, I was amazed how little it drank, even after all day use. I usually cut about 3-4 cords of wood per year, I'm still clearing out the down/dead trees that have fallen on our property and this is the 2nd winter we've been here, so I have quite a bit...

PTO vs Engine Driven Log Splitters

I'm trying to find a log splitter and have been going over which would be better, a PTO driven splitter or one that has it's own motor. The PTO would be nice, but I would have to drag the tractor out every time I wanted to split wood. However, the motor unit would be easier to use, but then I...

    Multi-color garage walls

Ummm Yah, I can't hold a candle to 3vettesnLift LOL, but here is a simple splash of color. A lot of changes have been made since these photos, but with these you understand the broad strokes...like I said, its nothing like some of the INCREDIBLE garages we have on this board, but it works...

    generator question

Can those of you with these large generators post some pics? I've been doing the research, trying to figure out what I need and can only seem to find suitable locations for a unit with a smaller footprint. I'd like to see how you guys have yours setup. So far I've narrowed it down to one unit...

    po' folks have po' ways

I'll have to agree here. I don't know what constitutes a "museum," but I like my spaces to be TIDY. It just makes life easier. It is true that I spent some coin on my garage, but I did all the work myself and I'm pretty damned proud of it. Do I like to show it off? YOU BET! Do I work in...

Two color epoxy job is done, not perfect, but done

VERY nice job! I had the same issue with the moths when I did mine, I swept them up after the floor cured then dug some of em' out with a putty knife, then did touch-up work. I'm sure you'll be able to do the same. Not that I'd think anyone would notice...except you.

Why does everyone choose to add FLAKES?

That was another reason why opted not to put the chips down on my 1st floor, I wanted to be able to squeegee it dry, without worrying about shredding the squeegee. At the time of the infamous fall, it only happened once, I was wearing worn out soccer flats (zero traction). Not smart...I...

I've learned to hate epoxy coating!

Same here, I just used an old Rustoleum garage floor kit I had laying around for 3 or so years. I put it down in my shed...worked like a champ. I never would have guessed other products have a shelf life of only a few months....

Why does everyone choose to add FLAKES?

I didn't use the provided chips the first time I epoxied a garage floor (Home Depot/Rustoleum Brand) in my old house/garage, nor did I use any aggregate (which isn't provided in the Rustoleum kits from HD). Man, that was a HUGE mistake! The floor looked great! Once it got wet or I spilled...

    Tool storage rack

Another fan of pegboard here! You can get it from Lowes/HD and it has a 'metal look' to it. I accidently ran across this when shopping for the garage. All I did was paint the red stripe. Hopefully the link will work and you can click the thumbnail. If not go here...

    Awesome Car Wax

I know a dealer for Adams, he cuts pretty good deals, if anyone is interested I can give out his contact information, just PM me. I've been detailing cars for a pretty long time, I've yet to find any polishing system better than Zaino or Adams. I use a combination of both for my vehicles.

    Awesome Car Wax

If you like Mothers brand of waxes, you should look into Zaino and Adams. IMHO there are none better on the market. http://www.zainostore.com/ http://www.adamspolishes.com/ Also, if you have rough feeling paint, look into clay bars, if your not removing the debris stuck into the paint, all...
