    I have two Stabila magnetic torpedo levels and as expatriated says they are excellent quality. The magnets in particular are the strongest I've ever seen on a level.

    You can still find Canadian made ones at Sears branded as Craftsman. I have a couple of them. They're nice, but they have a magnet inside them so if you use them around metal any shavings can cause them to jam.

    The air cooled refers to the charger. There's a fan in the charger that blows air through the battery as it charges.

    Recently, I added this to my (small) collection of Old World tools: I haven't used it much, yet, but from what I have done with it in my basement, I'm very impressed with it. The Metabo website claims it has 885 in-lbs of max torque. I have no idea if that is true or any way of testing...
