    2-Post lift talks again...

I have the stratus lift and absolutely love it. Installed it this summer and have been using it every chance I get. It handles everything from my 3/4 ram cummins to my tractor. It is very well built and can be set up asymmetric or symmetric. It should easily last me a lifetime. Was very easy to...

Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT It has been a busy summer and fall on my detached 28x36

None, very good lift and price, I have had zero issues. Setup was very straight forward easy to put together and it was very well built. Packaging and shipment were excellent. I would highly recommend. I really like the height and width between the posts since I regularly park my car in the...

to strap or not to strap, that is the question

I went with steel on the trusses, nice and white, great vapor barrier and easy to put up and best of all no mudding or taping! It also works great to stiffen up the structure its great in shear, tied all the walls into the corners. Put my insulation right on top of it...

    Two Post Lift

You probably don't have enough height but I love my Stratus. Great price and great product. Plus I cant stand the blue and yellow lifts everyone has. Here is the link to my post. https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showpost.php?p=8715235&postcount=28 https://stratusautoequip.com/2-post-lifts/

    Tractor shed build

Well Just finished up the addition to the back of the tractor shed this weekend. I added a full lean-to on the back for additional under cover storage. Cool thing was that I was able to easily set the precast posts by hanging them from the external framing. I left them 4 in off the bottom of...

Are High Bay LEDs too bright for a 10' ceiling?

Hey Mat fellow Mainer here! I used 6 of these in my 28x36 13' white ceiling and I keep the dimmer on 70% most of the time only crank them way up if I need to so some under car work. I think you will be much happier with the longer units on that ceiling height.

    CoverShield U140 semi Gloss

Applied U140 on mine this spring. It has held up really well, it will be interesting to see what happens this winter with all the road salt water coming off my cars. 7month old slab pressure washed it then applied 3 coats with sprayer and microfiber mop.

Mr. Cool Advantage - is this damage bad (see pic)

That is probably the defrost sensor I believe it is suppose to be attached to the fins I would probably request a replacement. If it got banged around that much there may be other issues.

Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT It has been a busy summer and fall on my detached 28x36

Also installed some Rapid air Maxline. I did a 3/4 loop around the shop then did 1/2 in drops down to my stations. Also added a hose reel to my lift with a 50ft line that reaches out side nicely.

Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT It has been a busy summer and fall on my detached 28x36

Well Just about 1 year later and i think I am just about finished with the Garage build. Only thing left is a heat pump, propane line for the real cold weather heater and trim on the inside windows (will probably get to that this winter). I finally got my Stratus 10,000lb lift installed and I...

How to heat existing three-car attached garage...

So your worried about having enough solvent in the air to have an explosive environment? If that is the case you have way more problems than just the heater everything in your shop ie electrical motors ect.. would need to be explosion proof. If it is a ceiling mounted unit I wouldn't worry...

Holding Tank for Building Waste Water

My wife does waste water septic design and permitting and most all locations will not allow just a holding tank unless the lot is not buildable for a full septic and it is grandfathered IE very small lake lots. Reason is that people often poke holes in the tank and they are never pumped.
