Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT It has been a busy summer and fall on my detached 28x36

Next had to remove the old garage, posted it on Craig’s list and a local guy came and took it away and even gave me $100 for helping remove the roof. It had lots of good wood in it but it was way too small for what I wanted 24x24, also it was not sitting on any sort of foundation. Weird thing...

    Planning my 36x28

I like the idea of one large door do they make them in 12' height? Any issues with letting all the heat out, I plan to do some heating and our avg winter low temp is around 10F. Hay door is an excellent idea much easier to get stuff in and out of storage.

    Planning my 36x28

Looks good, wish I could access the end of my building but the way the slope and other buildings are it is not possible. Huge advantage to be able to draw things up before hand I wouldn't do it any other way. Luckily I have access to solid works through work makes it much easier.

    Tractor shed build

I have had really good luck with it, just wish sometimes it was bigger. We have an excellent dealer here in the central part of the state so that helps with parts. but truthfully I haven't needed any. I usually buy all my OEM Maintenance filters and parts on ebay.

Drawings for those interested. Not liable for anyone building this, they have not been engineered to a specific snow or wind load.

    Tractor shed build

Used board and batten to close in 3 sides. I might make some doors for it this year or do some type of roll up canvas for each bay. Let me know if you have any ideas. Put down 30 yards of crusher dust around the building for parking.

    Tractor shed build

Once I had each bent up and plumb I attached a frame to both the top and bottom to make a complete boxed roof frame. I tech screwed everything together to aid the install then went back and welded all the connections. The frame was incredibly rigid without any bracing or siding. The nice part...

    Tractor shed build

Building up the trusses, Marked out the slab for my posts and laid the steel on top to mark the timbers to cut. Once I had them all built I made up a small angled frame so I could lift them flat into position with my forks. Post are bolted to the slab with anchors and Strongtie post bases.

    Planning my 36x28

Great forum huge amount of knowledge here! Looking at doing a 36x28 saltbox garage this summer. Due to location I am fairly limited to the size. I want to put in in the same location as my 24x24 with shed on the side. We get tons of snow here so I need to put the doors on the gable side...
