Need new screwdrivers, Wera or Wiha?

I have SK Suregrip screwdrivers. They are comfortable and hold up well. I got them to replace my old Craftsman Professionals which I loved. They are just a different color.

Upgrade Cheapie Tire Inflator w/ Gauge

PSI is PSI. It'll only read what it's fed. Go for it. Some light truck tires are higher than that though, FYI.

did i overpay for this old tool box?

I'd say you did well. Kennedy's are expensive new, but most folks don't pay a lot for them used, mostly for the same reason. The slides **** if you have any kind of weight in the drawers. Your set looks to be in pretty nice shape. Did you get the front panel for the top chest?

    duracell batteries junk??

If you are old enough to remember, batteries leaked all the time and ruined stuff back in the 60's and then they came out with better batteries. It would say right on the battery that they would replace any device that was damaged by the batteries if they ever leaked. I left batteries in stuff...

    Milwaukee cordless cutoff ool

I'm pretty happy with the Milwaukee M18 angle grinder. You're already set up for one with cutoff wheels for your corded one, so why reinvent the wheel? Get the dual voltage charger and you're good to go, and can also expand in either line down the road.

Yep A What is This? Are these?

They are probably the previous owner's "toe jam" tool kit. :D

    Pry Bar Recommendation

I got these from Ollie's and they do have striking caps. They are every bit as nice as the Cman ones, and about 50% cheaper. Again though, you'll need a local Ollie's.

Link leads to an error page. Looks like it was too good to be true. Thank God, I didn't need a ninth sawzall. :D

    The Harbor Freight PASS/FAIL Thread...

You gotta be careful with speed controllers on some tools. Many are fan cooled and when slowed down and put under load and tend to let the smoke out.

    Multitool recommendation

I've been pretty happy with Gerber multi tools. The handles are revered to keep the tools inside so they aren't digging into your hand, the pliers open with one hand and all the blades lock.

    M18 or M12 jigsaw reviews?

I have the M12 and it's a nice tool and easy to work with all day. I used it on everything from paneling and flooring to cement board. The M18 is more powerful, but it's also bulkier and heavier. I also have both M12 and M18 hackzalls, and the M12 gets used more since it is more compact and...

    Anyone like the Craftsman Quickwrench?

I have a bunch of them, got them for Christmas one year. The box end is good for when you need a backer wrench. That's about all I ever use them for. Just another failed Craftsman gimmick.

Any HF tools that have been discontinued that you miss ?

Can't say I miss it, because I still have it, but the 110# cast steel Russian made anvil was nice for the $$$.

Seems like the M12 soldering iron is back in stock on ebay and at home depot. It's gonna make my life a lot easier from the looks of it.
