I bought a used M12 rotary tool and have had no problems with it. I dont use it all of the time, but I was so impressed with it that I got rid of my corded Dremel. Sounds like yours might be defective. Not sure why Milwaukee didnt just replace it.

I really love my SK's but they have gotten outrageous and I'm leary of the warranty support. Bought some Gearwrench and really like those. They may be made in China but they've held up to DIY use well. If I could start over again, I'd go Proto.
