    Direct tools reconditioned sales Ryobi

Ridgid will only honor the LSA on "blemished" tools, not reconditioned. Had no problem registering my blemished tool with them. Easy process.

They are spendy but worth it. I got mine from Zoro and you can find 20% off coupons. I haven't put these to use "in the field" but I have the 3/8" Proto 90t flexhead and it works like a champ. It was the only ratchet that could pull me away from locking flex head ratchets.

I don't have the Nepros to compare with but I must say, these ratchets are incredibly nice. Very smooth, comfortable, and the chrome is flawless. Was hesitant to move on from SK but I'm glad that I've did. Been converting a lot of my tools from SK to Proto and loving them so far. They're spendy...

    Best Tool Review Sites?

I almost forgot....Project Farm on YouTube does a pretty good job. It's not exciting to watch but it is really informative. Doesn't seem to deal in much sponsored BS.

Some new ratchets! Decided to move on from SK and I've really loved every Proto tool that I've bought. These Proto 90t ratchets are smooth as butter.

ToolGuyd is good. Also Spencley Design Co (on YouTube) has a couple of good reviews on Ridgid woodworking tools.

Going from Battery Powered to Pneumatic

Thanks guys! I tried out the Ridgid pneumatics today and was surprisingly unhappy with them. I ended up returning them (along with the compressor) and got the Ridgid 18v Cordless Brad nailer and love it so far. Will probably sell the Bostitch and can't afford to keep the compressor kit too. If...

Going from Battery Powered to Pneumatic

I'm mainly going to use it for nailers/blow guns/etc. Might use a compact ratchet, but really with a 6 gallon, I can't imagine doing too much with it. Everything else that I have is battery powered. Ridgid 18v/Milwaukee 18v/Milwaukee M12.

Going from Battery Powered to Pneumatic

I would love to but due to financial constraints one has got to go.

Going from Battery Powered to Pneumatic

Hey guys, just wanted to get your thoughts as I'm stuck on making a decision about nailers. I have a Bostitch 18ga battery powered nailer (its basically the Dewalt DCN680) and I've been pretty happy with it. I got the Bostitch because a local bargain outlet had a brand new one for a great...

    Channelock GLS-3 Pliers

I have used the GLS pliers and they are probably my favorite Channellocks. They're not as stiff as I'd like, but neither are the Knipex cobras. I highly recommend them!

    oil deal- (via slickdeals)

I actually already got my gift card for this promotion. There has been a lot of confusion about exactly what the gift card is. You can pick from a lot of brands including Home Depot, Lowes, Advance Auto Parts, and etc. Definitely a lot of options and I'm not disappointed.

Anyone used Tenhulzen Home Wheel Alignment System?

Would you need a quick jack for that or would jack stands work okay?

Anyone used Tenhulzen Home Wheel Alignment System?

Hey guys, I've been look at the Tenhulzen 2 Wheel Alignment Tool Kit for setting alignments at home. Has anyone ever used one? For those of you who do alignments, what do you think of these? I'm just an intermediate DIYer but I'm also cheap and would love to save money. Reviews on Amazon are...

    On-line auto service manuals

I actually use Chilton through Stark Library in Ohio. If you live outside of Ohio, you pay $30 a year and you get an e membership that gives you access to the library's digital resources including Chilton DIY and Consumer Reports among other things. Way cheaper than All Data DIY (which has...

    The Ridgid addiction thread

Good to hear! This is one of the main reasons that I buy Ridgid. I'm a home gamer and really can't think of anything better for prosumer brands than Ridgid.

Need a Jack and Jack Stands

I've been using the TEQ Correct 4 Ton Jack Stands from Advance Auto Parts and they have been spectacular. The welding is really nice, they are thick and heavy, and have a quick start system that raises the jack stand bar automatically without having to pull it up. They are $37 a piece at AAP but...
