Quick Jack Tripping Breaker - Lowering Only

Wires all look good in control unit and handheld. I was able to swap button wiring in handheld unit to see if it was the Down button. Down button wired to Up worked fine. I did have to get the Buick off the jacks which was a pain. So the QJs are out from under the car and still in up position...

Quick Jack Tripping Breaker - Lowering Only

Hi All, Reaching out to any Quick Jack owners who may have had this problem. I have the old Buick up on the jacks for some rocker repair. Attempted to lower the jacks today and my breaker keeps tripping. Oddly enough, the pump operates with "Up" button, but trips breaker when "Down" button is...

Some Type of Spoon Bit for a Drill Brace?

Ya, you can see a shadow movement in the background, probably the woodworkers arm moving.

Some Type of Spoon Bit for a Drill Brace?

Saw a ton of those for sale on the web. Adapted for a modern drill chuck. Guessing a slow speed is necessary. The only spoon I use is the one with my Cap'n Crunch each morning.... and not on a drill (or at slow speed)

Some Type of Spoon Bit for a Drill Brace?

Wow, just revisited and it looks like my post sparked an interesting discussion. So, is there any hope in identifying the manufacturer. It looks pretty crude with squared and beveled edges, but has no markings other than a string of dots in a snake pattern. As always, interested if it has any...

    New Find: Small Plane ID

Appears to be a marking near bottom circle but cant make it out, or maybe just a casting. Did notice a bit of red paint on the handle that looks like original color. So, that may also be a small clue. Other clue is base is oblong where middle width is 1 5/8 and about 1 1/2 width on each end.

    New Find: Small Plane ID

Hey all, Another old? tool find in a outpost shed. Looks to be a 4.75" block plane, pretty solid and would clean up nicely. No marking that I can see and a bit of surface+ rust. Trying to identify manufacturer. See pics:

    Williams T-Handle Identification

I usually just look for the existence of my grandads initials as tools with them are valuable to me. Would anyone recommend cleaning with evaporust or other methods. What if any value would this have?

    Williams T-Handle Identification

Hi All, I continue to get tools in bits and pieces from a garage cleanout and recently found this T-Handle socket I am trying to identify. Classic Williams diamond and what looks like 96 stamped on it. I cannot make out any other part number, Williams USA appears to be stamped on other side...

    QuickJack Sale!

Skeptical of time comparison. I guess if you store QJ's on wall and disconnect all hoses. I started out doing this then realized it is easier to just store jacks on floor under vehicle. Pushed to center of bay while not in use. Pull out under frame/rockers when needed. They are low enough to fit...
