I think BluePoint from Snap On is rather good as well, it's extremely overpriced but can find new sets on ebay a lot cheaper, but those master socket sets are really good. Even the Taiwan Williams and Bahco is pretty decent as well.

Sealey do pretty much all of these in their own colours, can be had for about the same price, they're pretty much all the same. They're also a tad cheaper depending where you shop.

You could get it from DE amazon for £62 and if you used the free prime membership got it delivered fast for free, I think amazon caught on as now its just £84 from DE. Pretty sure there's an error here its slapping on german tax of 19% then another 20% for british.

This was much cheaper amazon did have it for £69 but now its £84 Id wait personally.

Proto you have to buy from industrial suppliers in the UK and pay whatever they want you to pay, it's worth buying from amazon US, or some of the smaller stores online that offer little selection. Also a lot of mac tools are just proto with laser etched mac on them..

Bahco made in the USA ones, basically snap on @ 1/4 no warranty (that I know of) come in all the normal sizes and 600mm and 900mm variants. 8169-1/2 - 600mm 8170-1/2 - 900mm if anyone's interested.

Does sound strange, but when I first got them unwrapped the plastic and opened the top plastic cover they just gave off a wax/oil smell and it's pretty strong, and has never gone away, I don't actually sniff sockets, it's just a potent smell they gave off. Same with new ratchets, breaker bars...

Im pretty sure it's wax or oil, it still has the weird smell, I do believe it's some type of rust protection Ratchets, sockets, even the impacts had it applied.
