    Tools from the old world

^ Hazet 600LG will still deform under load they feel a little soft, TopTul I haven't really put that much stress on the open end, but they do flex on the ring end.

6 point vs 12 point sockets

I personally have found having a 12 point set around in 3/8 and 1/2 has been useful for me, their not my go to sockets, but they do come in handy sometimes and I wouldn't spend a silly amount of money on one either. Axle nuts/bolts, a few suspension components but these can be had with a...

Anvil On New 1/2" Impact Compared To Milwaukee

I only have the one 12ah battery, but when we do tyre changes on trailer's/trucks it comes in handy, other than that I use mostly 4/5ah. Sent from my SM-G950F using The Garage Journal mobile app

Anvil On New 1/2" Impact Compared To Milwaukee

I didn't know they went brushless but with the batteries what I mean is Milwaukee offer high output 12ah batteries as well as many other options, while snap on only offers 4ah which do drain pretty fast, one 4.0 Ah Monster Lithium costs more than a 12ah Milwaukee, in the UK.

Anvil On New 1/2" Impact Compared To Milwaukee

I personally think milwaukee has always been good, my older 2015 model high torque has been great since day one, it manages to snap 12mm threaded brake caliper bolts a lot on reverse time, a little overkill, I think the sweet spot is 300nm like the milwaukee M12 stubby. The Snap-On has nice...

    Tools from the old world

Yeah I have a few of their spanners, and pliers found them stupidly cheap on amazon and the profile on their spanners is different and pliers seem nice quality as well. No COO on anything either I thought the spanners might have had something.

    Punch set

I have Proto Punch and Chisel sets both are really good, Starrett Brass ones pretty good for the price. For the Eurobrands, I have Gedore and Elora tapered punches and some long Elora chisels that have held up really great.

Are Snap On Impact Sockets worth it?

I have the older snap on impact socket set made in canada shallow, 10-24 missing 20 and 23, they have seen a lot of use over the years, some of the more popular sizes like 13/17/19 and 21 are deformed but do not round fasteners yet. My current bahco set, for deeps, 10-24 again, no issues and...

    Tools from the old world

I would hope they get them as a forged basic shape, then do the stamping, machining, cleaning and heat treatment, and chroming, but very unlikely. The finish, and quality is too high to suggest most of it was done in germany, no imperfections on any of the sockets I have compared to Elora, and...

    3/8" impact sockets

I bought a set of impact 3/8 for my Air Ratchet they ended up getting in the way too often and it got annoying so now they sit in a box buried in my draws, chrome sockets will do just fine, they might split after a ton of use, but any cheap 3/8 chrome set over impact ones.
