    Ford Expedition AC Clutch Replacement?

Have you checked to see if just the clutch is available? I sell and install ac parts and unless you buy a complete compressor you probably wont be able to buy just a clutch. The reason i got into this business is because I was tired of being ripped off by ac shops. I was charged $400 for...

    schulz air compressors?

The more I look at their pictures it appears CAS and Eaton Polar Air use the same pump for the 7.5 hp compressors. One has eaton cast into it though.

    IR 244a vs Thunder gun

Ive had a 244 for nearly 20 years and never had an issue with it....until a few days ago when something happened with the trigger. When I plug the air hose onto the gun the thing takes off. I used it quite a bit back in the day (diesel mechanic) but I have never used a thunder gun so I cant...

    CAS Compressed Air Compressors info

They claim the parts are readily available, they have been in the business since 1980. I know that is not long compared to Quincy/Curtis but they are all made in China supposedly. I would love to have a Saylor Beall but I cant afford that. I have a Schulz MSV40SA pump that is built really nice...

    What Welder to Get?

Stick welds are strong as hell but its an art to make a nice weld. I learned on a mig and cant weld for chit with a stick welder. I purchased a Firepower welder from ASE Deals website maybe 8 years ago and that thing has never let me down. Good little welder. At the time it was quite a bit lower...

    CAS Compressed Air Compressors info

Ive been shopping for a compressor for a few months now and when Im close to breaking the card out I usually find something that I dont like about the compressor. I have been close to buying a Curtis CA, Quincy QT, Schulz and now a CAS. I just spoke with the CAS Rep and it seems like they have...

    Home shop fans

I bought the $200 pedestal fan from HD. Makes a lot of impressive noise but doesn't push much air even for as big as the fan is. I also have a Dayton 24" that has a motor going out on it but when it worked, it worked great! Will be replacing the motor soon, strange that Baldor was out of stock...

ever seen a compressor like this?

larry g is spot on. Ive been doing a lot of research on building a compressor with the parts I have VS. buying one and pump size is where its at. If you have a smaller pump you are limited. Very cool compressor though!

    schulz air compressors?

Good to know that CAS didnt have a known issue. I am looking forward to their response to my questions. Do you happen to know if it is common to not have a bearing between the rod/ crankshaft? I know back in the day that was normal for lawnmowers and stuff. Seems like there should be in 2013.

    schulz air compressors?

I emailed Compressed Air Systems with a few questions. Was there a reason you didn't like CAS? I will share their response if I get one.

    schulz air compressors?

I just called Schulz to ask a few questions, thought I would share the info with you guys. I'm interested in their 7.5hp V pump 80 gallon vertical compressor. They offer 1 year warranty on everything but the pump which is 2 years. The 15hp is the only one they offer with disc valves, all others...

    schulz air compressors?

Im sure this has been discussed and hashed before but am I alone in thinking that reed valves are inferior to disk valves? The only thing that has kept me from breaking the wallet out for a schulz is that they use reed valves (as well as a lot of other compressor brands). I used to use a lot of...

Is this too much??? Snap On Wrench Set

Man you are gonna be pissed when you misplace one of those. I had to purchase a set of used high angle open ends for AC work. Snap On was the only one that had that much of an angle. For standard box/open end wrenches I use Crapsman, I cant afford to fill my toolbox with the high end stuff.

    Eaton/Polar Air Compressor

Did you purchase the compressor? I am also looking for info on the same compressor as well as a Schulz compressor with similar stats. Hope somebody has input.

    schulz air compressors?

Hello guys, new to the forum and joined for a few reasons but this thread was the most intriguing, does anyone have any updates on their schulz compressors? I am a complete mental nut when it comes to making a decision on something that costs as much as these compressors do. Im down to either a...
