Well, I just read Ryan's post you included. Even in his explanation, guess which word in the phrase "pain in the ***" is asterisked out when I bring it up to read it.

I do not know what is causing it. It may be something I did in some preferences somewhere. Just last week it started. Any word that may just be the least offensive to someone turns out with all of the letters showing up as asterisks in the forum. Even in the Garage Sale thread the word...
