    Bemis wrench someone took a looks like a center. Punch smashed out the name. Whoever owned it or whatever company I don't know pretty sad

    Perhaps the wrench did not belong to Bemis so the owner Butthead punched the name out.... :)

    Murphy Hydraulics 30ton press. Anyone ever seen one?

    MURPHY press, what could possibly go wrong??? :) I would do what has already been recommended. Tear the jack down and do a good cleaning and inspection before you get into buying parts. Not a difficult job and can often save time, dollars and anguish later.

    Probably started as whitworth amperes and then converted to the stranger SAE ampere. Now they are metric amps!!! :) (However, nothing actually strange about 32A, remember we are talking 240V in most of the world).

    3/4 Ratchet Set - Uses?

    When we got up to the "PLUS" sizes we pretty much used slugging wrenches. We had a 3/4 set which was rarely used.
