    help!!!

Another option is to hire a rigger. They have the equipment and labor necessary to do it safely. Rough guess on price would be $200-400 Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

"Aero-1946" at work - pics of a German hobby workshop project

More rivets look better. The stamp outside the crease is better also. Keep up the great work.

Lathe guys.. Check in here please.. 10" Atlas?

+1 on selling the milling attachment. I sold my on ebay for $275. That and a few hundred more dollars and I bought a X2 mill that is a much better dedicated machine. Granted the X2 is not great but it works for what I do.

So I bought a lathe yesterday, sad story…...

That is bad news/good news/bad news. Hope nothing got tweaked enough that it will not be worth rebuilding.

1/2 Cups Brake drum pot belly heater build.

Very Cool. Woodstoves are great for putting out the heat fast and warming up a space.

    New garage/workshop

50% deposit for a project that size does not leave you any power over contractor on any issues that may come up. Make sure your contract has a completion date or your project may become very low priority and take longer that expected.

Best temporary heat for small un-insulated workshop

Good choice on the Big Buddy. I have never noticed any condensation with mine. Pick up the power adapter for the fan also. You will not need D batteries then. Jim

Best temporary heat for small un-insulated workshop

+1 for the big buddy with a 20lb cylinder. I have one in my uninsulated one car detached garage and after a few hours I can work in a long sleeve or sweatshirt depending on how cold and windy it is outside.

Custom Workshop Build - Input Please!

Any reason that you are putting in the "cut outs"? IMHO it adds complexity and cost to the project. Make it as big and deep as your lot and budget will allow!

    Airless Paint Sprayers

They are not difficult to use. If you are painting a whole house and do not want to make it a long term project, I recommend one. It is very easy to get overspray, so caution is wise (especially with a breeze). They can paint cabinets etc. but they are a pain to clean and will waste some...

Hand truck with a lifting tongue.

I will be watching this one. I have been looking for something similar that will load up to 750# to 48". Something like a forklift (love to have one)but not as expensive nor as heavy. Also something that can be moved fairly easy.

Might Be Nuts If I Don't Buy This

The first one has character. The second one looks to be move in ready. Do you want to spend the time to renovate or spend time on projects. This is the question that you must answer.

How many times are you supposed to measure before you weld? There's no rule.

Great Shelf, I am going to have to put that in my mental list of things to do but probably will never get to. Jim

Great reminder to double check all clothing. Take the time to be safe and you will have the time to work long in the future
