    Wide open. There are no uses when it's closed. I have 6 different sizes and always pick the one that most closely fits the nut or bolt it will be used on. Adjust from there.

    I have recently built a similar building. I used 2" poly foam board. Works great. I also installed a grid ceiling and used the same poly foam board for the tiles.

    I found an adhesive called Shoe Goo. It's about as tough as any I've ever used. I got it at Wal-Mart.

    I've always used transmission fluid. My air tools are 40 years old and there have been no problems. These tools have been used in a commercial shop for most of that time.

    Improper installation. The joints should be tight and they should be mudded in then taped and mudded again.

    Grid and tile. Quick and easy. Allows access to everything above. You can insulate it with batts.

    Agree with Astroracer. I will add my 2 cents. Remove all of the drawers and doors and paint them horizontally. The paint will flow better and there will be less chance for runs.
