    Same Ratchets as HF ICON

I've seen EPAuto tools on Amazon for a long time. I've noticed very low prices for Taiwan made tools and great reviews. Certainly a brand I'd look at if I was in the market for some new budget tools.

RED ALERT!!! According to the Torque Test Channel Milwaukee Has Totally Screwed the Pooch on the High Torque Impact

Do you think the TT video was the first they had heard about this? I think the reason they responded in the way that they did was because of the video, not because of the problem. The video is sitting at 1 million views in 6 days. I bet they knew about the problem more than 6 days ago.

RED ALERT!!! According to the Torque Test Channel Milwaukee Has Totally Screwed the Pooch on the High Torque Impact

Other brands have to rely on quality and dependability. Milwaukee has realized that they only have to slap their logo on something and their fanboys will buy it. People have bought their junk handtools and praised them, so why not cut more corners? A cool logo and the "team red" following is...

Versatile flashlight for compact tool bag/pouch?

Wurkkos has a headlamp style light that has two leds on it, one is for flood lighting, it has usb c charging, and a simple UI. It's on amazon here. It's a 21700 battery, not a 18650, but it also can be used as a powerbank.

    Experience with DeWalt pole saw

I have one and have used it a fair amount. I think it works great. It's a little heavy on the saw end, but the weight seems to help it cut better. I had a straight pole saw and the angled blade on the Dewalt is much easier to use for me. With the straight blade, I had to push into the...

Hart Tools Walmart - Warranty is a PITA

Hart replaced the junk B&D tools at walmart, meaning that they offered to sell their tools for a lower cost to walmart than SB&D was willing to do. They are tools for people who want to hang pictures in their apartments with no expectation of quality from their purchase. Walmart and TTI both...

What's going on with SK Tools these days?

Chrome Vanadium Impact Sockets? (specifically Tekton's)

You could buy a set of both Sunex and Tekton impact sockets for way less than an education in metallurgy. The real world experience would probably be more educational than the scientific one for the application of busting rusty nuts and bolts with impact wrenches.

What is more versatile for a noob, a (hammer) drill or an impact driver?

I would get a cordless impact and a cheap 1/2" corded hammer drill. Then you can have both tools and pick up a nice cordless drill in the future. The heavier duty 1/2" drill with handle comes in handy for other things like using a paddle mixer too. I have this Bauer hammer drill and it is...

What kind of tools have you found in the road??

I recently found a tool bag full of tools spread out all across the street in my neighborhood. The tools were mostly Chinese Husky/Kobalt stuff. They were all beat to death. There were a few tape measures; the tape barely could be pulled out they were so bound up. I tried to find the owner...

    Service Truck Tool Bin Thieves

I left my garage door open overnight once. Luckily, I live on a dead end street and there were no lights on in the garage, and nothing was stolen. I about had a panic attack when I first realized that it had been left open. After that night, I installed an alarm sensor on my garage door and...

Any products for removing stains from concrete

I used Goof Off concrete cleaner/stain remover a few months back in my garage on some oil and rust stains. The improvements were very minimal. I wouldn't buy it again.
