As I promised in post #59, here are pics of my new shelf. I was building it the last weeks. It's not completely ready, but as far, as I can show pics. First is a before / after. Watch the shelf exactly. It's no ordinary shelf, but something special. Perhaps you guess, what kind of shelf it is. :)

I would recommend ordinary laminate flooring. I did so 4 years ago, my garage is looking like a living room, and the floor is like new after the first 4 years. No stains caused by new tires, leaking oil or fuel. You can wipe it off very easy. Also brake cleaner didn't damage my laminate...
