Another vote for Tractor Supply. When I need nuts+bolts that I can weld, I head over to TSC.
The pay-by-the-pound pricing is nice, the cashier doesn't have to worry about counting how much of what type... makes checking out a breeze.
My first suggestion would have been a bandsaw, but you've already thought about that.
#2 would be to put one of those diablo metal cutting circular saw blades on a regular circular saw, and go to town! (just make sure you clamp everything down)
What's silly is that I've bought trailers (small, half-ton trailers) that required me to sign a form saying I'm not a bad guy, and won't sell the trailer to bad guys.
But a flame thrower? Sure no need to sign any forms, just give us the money.
