I need the larger snap ring that holds the grooved escutcheon around the anvil into the teardrop head of the ratchet for a Cman 3/8 drive ratchet model 43784. This is not a normal snap ring, it's some proprietary C'man part that is NLA except from the ebay price gougers selling NOS rebuild kits...

Does anyone have any ideas here? I'm really aggrevated and sad now. Why couldn't Sears just use an ordinary snap ring?

UPDATE: The Harbor Frieght snap ring assortment didn't work. None of them work because they are the "flat washer" style snap rings, whereas the original was a wire style snap ring. The HF snap rings are very stiff steel and I can't even get them around the eschuteon groove to compress them...

I see and have quite a few DBE Lectrolites. They are always brown and rusty in the wild. I was never into them as they seem just bleh to me. I like C'man and Proto and Williams, I leave the Lectrolite to other pickers. I choose not to pick Lectrolite. It just has zero appeal to me.
