1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

WOW, that is dangerous levels, BP and HR. I'm 64 and pushing really hard working out I can just bounce my HR into the 150's, hope this episode settled down, and that you have consulted someone.

Attn: KC Area Folks: Stonegate Motor Plaza

Nothing to add, just that I see that place everytime we drive up to KC to see the kids, always wondered what the details were. Certainly looks like a garage condo kind of place from the highway.

THE WALKER-TURNER THREAD - Post your Walker-Turner pics

Kind of what I'm thinking, I would rather wait for a nicer, complete machine. This would end up just being something else sitting around waiting for me to do something with it...

THE WALKER-TURNER THREAD - Post your Walker-Turner pics

This showed up on marketplace, had to go take a look at it. My thought is to maybe use the head with the column, table, and base of my import drill press. Don't think that will work as the column on the WT appears to be much larger. It is 3 phase but could be re-motored, there is damage to...

How should I frame this out? Overgrown carport with lift

Solid bases, those posts at that length will flex regardless. To me the metal would look better with the seam running vertically instead of horizontally. Might be easier just to get a good car cover to put on the car.

How should I frame this out? Overgrown carport with lift

Those posts are tall, and no bracing, I would think there is a fair amount of movement? Closing it in has a number of challenges including the aesthetics, there is no overhang on the sides so you also have to figure out how to deal with the top edge of whatever siding you use.

The span of a 2"x8" joist at 16 feet okay?

The picture is not using 2x6, they are 2x10 or 2x12, and 6x6 posts.

Those pop up here occasionally, always pretty cheap, I've resisted getting them... Lots of good parts to be had from them though, just wish I had more space.

    Friggin ceiling fan.....

Google found it, I literally copy/pasted your description and added manual. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/770417/Hampton-Bay-Windward-Ii.html?page=7#manual That is a close mount, if it is a true flush mount, remove the blades, there should be some small screws at the top, remove those and...

    Delta Unisaw Fence

Well they did cut costs, the unifence is ridiculously over built and engineered. I have no issues with my Biesemeyer, and have one for the next saw in the mix.

    Delta Unisaw Fence

ebay or local market place is your best bet. They show up on FBM from time to time, ebay will have a significant shipping cost. Unless you just love the fence(it is a good fence) I see more Biesemeyer style show up on marketplace,

Have a shop? Tell me your thoughts

My feedback is more from a curb appeal point of view. Do you have options to rotate the shop 90 degrees and set it back from the house? From a front view you get a lot of garage doors in the view, and a lot of shop.

1920-60s DELTA / ROCKWELL picture thread - Post your Delta!

Thanks!! Just pulled the saw apart, it had some issues. The bellows are missing, that side case was loose as well for some reason. The variable speed has some missing screws on the control rod that render it non-functional, fortunately they are just 6-32-1/4". The funny thing I found was the...

1920-60s DELTA / ROCKWELL picture thread - Post your Delta!

Well another vintage tool on marketplace snagged me today. Seller listed a jig saw, on the stand, with the retractable casters. It's the 40-440 so it has the variable speed setup as well. The hold down assembly is incomplete, I could over look that though for the $65 asking price. It has...

How to accurately router shaker bit set

Start with the thickness of the stock(3/4" or 13/16"), what is your panel thickness(1/4"), how much material is required to support the panel on the back(1/4" or more), how much reveal is desired on the front. Set the rail bit to what you want, then set the stile bit to match that cut. Make...
