They make cutters for the flare, you could have used your lathe and made one... tisk tisk :lol2: All joking aside, I sometimes end up spending far too much time making something on my lathe that i could have just bought. I imagine its only going to get worse now that I have a bridgeport to go...

    rattle_snake's random shop projects v0.1

Sorry to go off topic on your thread RSK. We all laughed at the Rhino's at the dunes. Couldn't figure out why someone would spend that much money on something like that. I never wanted a sand rail because the dunes for us was exclusively for dirt bikes. How i got sucked into it was I really...

I'd have to really go digging through my computer. Basically when the RZRs came out I went that direction and moved on to messing with old cars.

Had a lyon tool cart from the 40s or 50s that I got for free. Decided to make one cart big enough for 2 of my 3 welders and the little plasma cutter. Used some 1x1 and 1x2 to basically build a frame around the cart used my lathe to round off some 1/2" nuts to use as inserts for the casters. Also...

Can anyone Id this tool box

34h (without the wheels) x 40w x 29d I know its kind of goofy looking but i still like it. It just won't fit under the bench i was hoping it would. I have so many boxes and cabinets i really don't need the storage but i might still pick it up.
