    looking for any help identifying a Wilton bench vise* update*

    Found how to load photo’s ( I think ? ) also side of vise says 5” jaws 8” jaw opening but jaw opening is only 6” screw extends 2” out of the sliding jaw someone said possibly broken clip ? Jaw stops extending when it reaches 6” and is still secure in the body !! Still wondering if anyone knows...

    RTM, I suspect that a broken clip would affect the operation of the vise ?? My vise seems to work flawlessly ?? I had our fabrication guy at work disassemble it clean it up. He also gave it a new paint job. And the tool room guy made a new set of hardened jaws for it !! Both guys charged me a 12...

    RTM, the older post you reposted, does look just like my Wilton vise stampings and all ! The only difference I see is as I said my screw and handle extends out further from the sliding jaw ! Thank you !

    I have a Wilton vise (not a bullet vise ) it's bolted to my bench so I'm hoping someone can help identify it without needing to remove it to look for identification numbers.
