What size welding table should I get?

Everything you post is just variations on the theme of cargo culting success in the blue collar world via buying expensive equipment. It's not how it goes. If you don't care how your 'business' turns out, then please don't expect others to or entertain these weird larps. Others are giving...

    fluorescent light wiring question.

10/2 12/2 14/2 doesn't matter as long as the breaker is sized accordingly.. automotive wire is a no-no. Insulation not rated appropriately Most common circuit for lighting is going to be a 15A breaker, 14awg wire. If you've got a bunch of 12/2 that's fine as well as long as it's on a 20A...

    Waterproofing old shower

This was my first thought as well. Put a bucket under it and shoot a fan at it from below everytime you use it. You are just delaying the inevitable, but I think waterproofing over that is going to make your situation worse.

Shop lighting tubes vs screw in bulbs

What the man said, just depends on the quantity and quality of light you desire... If there was no advantage over screw-in bulbs they wouldn't be made. That said if you have a 20x20 garage with 4 A19 bulbs, and you could easily add 2 or 4 more, I might do that instead of convert to 4ft tubes...

Calling a bolt by its head size

Uhh because it does not help the viewer to know the shank diameter or thread pitch of the fastener to be removed or installed. A youtube mechanic will say "Remove the 7/16" bolt on the strut" because saying "remove the 1 3/4" long 1/4" x 20 tpi hex head fastener" is a little wordy, and it...

I want to learn how to weld

Absolutely the case for me. I very rarely put .030 in my machine personally. Most of what I use my mig machine for is thinner. But as others said .030 for Flux Also those welds are very decent for being completely green. I for one am glad you didn't blow tons of money. Run this thing until you...

Need Advise: Synthetic Stucco vs Hard Coat/Traditional

My climate is vastly different- so this will not apply quite the same. We had a commercial building finished with EIFS from the 90's. 1.5" foam and synthetic stucco ala DryVit. Whole building nearly rotted away underneath it due to poor/ lack of drainage plane. So whichever you choose (or...

    Tool box

I worked with a few professional techs that used U.S general boxes. one guy had the 44 inch top and bottom, one the 56 top and bottom. I have low dollar Husky, Kobalt, Milwaukee and Masterforce toolboxes, and a Snap On box at work. Pretty hard to justify the price difference if you ask...
