    need some advice on 1/4 sockets!

    Rarely due I use a deep socket. I use a set of semi deep 1/4 sockets 90% of the time. U can get chrome or impact. I have both from Matco and a sk chrome set. But I don't sk makes those anymore.

    Brass mallet or hammer

    i have a snap on 2 pounder and the proto 4 pounder. The Proto is a great tool. You get what u pay for and there is no such thing as a good cheap brass hammer. The proto 4 pounder is over 100 bucks but the 1.5 and 2 pounders are cheaper 40 and 60 I think.

    3/8" Cordless impacts...which one to get?

    I have the m12 fuel 3/8 and it rocks for a small too. I have used the M18 3/8 and the ingersoll 3/8. Ingersoll is a little better but if you already have the milwaukee m18 stuff stick with that. You will not be disappointed.

    If just starting get a scanner if needed. Don't worry about the scope. I have run my own independent shop for 8 years and only needed it a handful of times to diagnosis a problem. I have a tech 2 and otc genysis that I use daily and can't complain. Always gets GE job done.

    Who's using a Miller 251??

    i have had my 251 for 10 years, no issues what so ever, just a few gun liners over the years. I use it all the time for fabrication. My favorite mig I have ever owned. If its under 1k scoop it up quick.
